(because it's inaccessible last I checked)
Then just spam updates in SAIL until you get FTL. That's how I do it.

Yeah, I agree with this guy. I really don't get what it is with crafting type games adding some type of "okay now arbitrarily wait until thing is done." Waiting is not fun, no one looks forward to going to the DMV because they're just so excited to stand in line for an hour not accomplishing anything. To mangle something I'm pretty sure Egoraptor said once, any game as makes me wait oughta be kneecapped or something; you know, something lasting that'll twinge on cold nights and it'll remember what it did. The one question you should ask yourself above all else when creating a game is, "is this making my game more fun?" If the answer is "no" you do not put it in your game. End of discussion. The answer to the question "Is waiting making my game more fun" is always "no".

Performance haven't improved at all. Yeah, we have better FPS, but game logic is still lagging every time. Monsters lags when attacks, moves, when do anything. When player tries to attack them, it also lags everywhere, that is makes shooting with range weapons hard and shitty.

I wonder, are nightly debug builds? If yes, performance improvement in it shouldn't be expected until proper release build um... release :).

Yes, yes they are. And even then there's more than one layer of performance stuffs. Water used to be pretty slow, Lua context switches (NPCs and such) used to be slow... that's the Hylotl mission and Outpost, respectively. They're fast now.

I don't mind some planets being basically one biome; a rock in space, an all-frozen world, an all desert world, but mostly, multiple biomes sounds great if they fit together.
Although -- as far as "fit together" goes, Earth has tropical, desert, ocean, forest biomes etc. They don't "fit together" but they're all on the same planet.

The new scanning method is totally good.
But clearly, we need traditional filters for new 3D printing UI.

Previously, we could find unprintable object on 3D printer UI.
But now, we have noway to find those objects.
So, i think the new inspect mode requires some function to find those objects.

Just tried nightly build this morning, and true they have improved the performance. Outpost is less laggy (but still laggy) than stable update. Hunger system is back, but food is not stacked. I'm okay with that but it will be better if food has its own tab.

I'm still not happy with waiting time when crafting. If I want to make 100 bandages, I have to craft 200 fabrics, hence the total time I wasted is 150 second. It's a three minutes doing nothing. Waiting time will be more suitable on unstackable objects like food or clothing.

I have to say that performance as other people noted has improved drastically, so kudos to that. As for other changes, I am digesting them so not much to say on that front.

Had to login and post to give you all some props. Seriously liking how many smart changes the team is making, but please make sure the quest npcs have personality, good writing is a lost art...

Well, after continuing further with nightly build, I noticed that 3D printer has no search box so we have to scroll up and down to find our desired item. Adding a search box would surely help.
