Closed Exiting Steam Bug, "Starbound Running Still..."

Anyone else steam not shut starbound down? Like i exit out of the game completely then i go to exit steam and it says please close starbound before exiting but i cant? I'm still clocking starbound hours since it still says im in game, i probably look like a starbound junkie.. at 160 hours now...

 

I've noticed that starbound.exe often continues to run in the background, and not closing properly. Open task manager, go to processes, find starbound.exe and end process. That's all I can suggest for now.

 

I'm getting this problem. It didn't close properly I think and now nothing I do will get it to not think the game is already running.

It does it every now and then for me too. Not sure why, but more often than not I have to go into task manager and close Starbound through there as well.
