Exhausted pass out, Child not born, day skipped

I passed out in my house on Spring 1. I got a popup asking me if I want to sleep as if I used my bed. I click yes. I got the notification that my wife gave birth and it asked what I wanted to name the child, but that name entry window closed and it skipped a day straight to Spring 3. I have no child and my wife doesn't seem to be giving me any indication she's pregnant.

Is there a workaround for this?
