EventsSeen ID, and events not triggering

Darn, thought this would fix it.

I can't get Sebastian's 10 heart to trigger despite meeting all the requirements. Went into my save after backing it up and deleted <int>384882</int>, went to his house after 8 pm and still nothing. When I went back into the save file <int>384882</int> somehow reappeared. Deleted it again and turned off steam cloud syncing, tried again, same thing. Am I missing something?

Yeah I guess going in and deleting the ID tag for events isn't the fix all for the issue of events not triggering. Bummer.

 

Can someone explain what file I edit and what line to remove? I need to get the Robin 6 Heart Event.

 

ahhh. I got it!
change the code in "playername_xxxxxx" file.
not in "SaveGameInfo" file and save.

1. search "%appdata%" in windows start menu
2. go to StardewValley\Saves\playername_xxxxxx folder
3. Open file "playername_xxxxxx" in notepad
4. ctrl+f search for "Eventsseen"
5. the Robin's 6 heart event is code 33. so search for "<int>33</int>" (It should be after the "eventsseen" coding) and delete it.
6. Save

Trying to fix Abigail event by deleting <int>6</int> seems to have corrupted my save. Thankfully I backed it up about 2 weeks before. Lost some progress not all. Just a heads up.

Oddly enough <int>6</int> showed up about 8 times in my file. You sure thats an event ID and not something else?

I suspect you ought to delete the <int>6</int> inside the <eventsSeen> tag only-- which would be only one.

Elliott's 10 heart event is <int>43</int> for those interested. Silly Alex, thinking I want him to hit me with a football when I clearly came to the beach to see Elliott!

 

Ummm... what happens if you change the savegameinfo instead? Should I be putting that line of text back in?

 

OK. When i delete the code for linus's event it just reappears. I've edited the save file in other ways (adding a dog) and that stuck, but this will not. I could use some help

Is Leah's 6H event really 992253? I don't see it there , but I do see a 992553. I have Leah at six hearts and I've visited the farm from every entrance. Stalking Leah's my number one priority in this game.

OH YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME . IT TRIGGERED IMMEDIATELY WHEN I BOOTED UP THE GAME NOT LONG AFTER GIVING UP. lol.
