could we get the full log? It's located at <Starbound folder>/storage/starbound.log (may appear as starbound with type LOG or type Text Document). If the game was ran after the last time this error occurred, in the same folder is starbound.log.1 through .5 (may appear as starbound.log with types 1 through 5) and we will need those, too.

Based on the fact it is an access violation, I assume you're playing on the 32-bit version?

An access violation can be caused by many different reasons and it is not tied to a 32bit version or anything like that. :nurunaughty:

Without a full log we can't do anything for you.

its just most common with the 32 bit version

Not really tbh. An access violation has absolutly nothing to do with 32bit or 64bit nor with the os. You can encounter access violations too on linux, mac and even android. When you try to access a resource or anything which is protected then it will cause this error. However this explanation is pretty shallow and an totally in-depth explanation would result in an extrem big text which has nothing to do with the topic anymore x) If you have any questions about it feel free to send me a pm. We don't want to go more off-topic in that topic do we?X3
