    Good job guys!

The level of depth you all are using to explain the issues assist the developers in finding solutions. Keep up the good work! The more details you can share about your operating systems will assist with resolving hardware and software bugs that might pop up. That's why we're all here right? To assist in the production of a game we all will love to enjoy?

OP's workaround fixed the problem for me. Thanks so much!

For the devs, in case they read this, here are my original error logs.

I tried every known workaround, and the OP's suggestion of using a non administrator account is what finally worked. Hope you guys can solve this for everyone!

I'm running Windows XP and it worked fine for me before the latest update, I hope this info helps and would love to see the problem fixed as soon as possible.

    Jman1177 Void-Bound Voyager

The patch didn't help, I still get the exact same error. That's a real bummer >.>
I've tried literally every fix so far, nothing's working :(

  5. LordZeon

    LordZeon Void-Bound Voyager

Getting the same access violation error in Frustrated Koala.

This was fixed by re-enabling UAC prompts in Windows 8.1
. Looks like Windows doesn't like Starbound unless it actually uses the prompts.
