Bug/Issue error message 'internal\windows' package folder

    Lorendai Big Damn Hero

    I tried to update SMAPI, which is usually no problem, but I encountered this error message when I tried updating today. I'm not sure if it's actually related to SMAPI, but rather a problem with a file that SMAPI requires perhaps? Has anyone encountered this error message before?


    Your game folder: C: \Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\StardewValley
    The 'Internal\Windows' package folder is missing (should be at C:\users\owner\appdata\local\temp\7zo03705b04\internal\windows).

      Hi @Lorendai. Make sure you unzip the download first; it looks like you're running the installer from inside the zip file. :)

        Thanks so much! Somehow I forgot to do that this time, and now I feel silly lol! Everything works great now, thanks for the help
