Closed Erchius mining facility "infected miners"

Im kind of stuck here, the infected miners deal too much damage. 80 - 200 damage is wayyy too much for me to deal with, i have the steel hammer and i need like 5 - 9 attacks to kill each one, which is impossibe if they kill me in one hit!
further more getting platinum at this point is impossible so what the hell can I do? I tried this quest over 20 times already. should I just call it quits ?

 

The armors and weapons are being re-balanced due to some major changes that have been made recently (that threw them out of whack). If you just want to push through the mission, enable admin mode which will make you invulnerable.

 

I really love playing this game without any mode changing.
do you know when will the change be invoked?

Due to the fact that the Nightly builds are development snapshots, they're going to be broken fairly regularly and require workarounds using the admin commands. They're not meant to be a clean, perfectly working version of the game.

You can kill them by staying out of their way and shooting them. They cam't jump, so just get on a platform and fire away.
You should have the Pulse Jump tech, so use it as soon as you hit the switch to spawn the first guy, and you'll be up and out of his way. The others you'll have to run from, until you get to some platforms.
