Descriptive Backstory: Zackary was born and raised in a rich family, despite being more or less top of his class for track and field and pole vaulting throughout his childhood and being a rich kid, he was never very popular. Mostly because he was always scared of everything. Germs, bugs, girls, loud noises, etc...
Than one day the earth suddenly went to shit and he ran like a coward to his parent's spaceship. Too bad he didn't know how to drive it and his parents were dead. If not for S.A.I.L. he never would have made it out alive. He spent the next few years wandering around trying not to die, until he was captured by a floran hunting party and brought back to their camp to be the next three course meal. He continually shouted things like "I DON'T TASTE GOOD!" The whole time. Whilst in a cage in their camp, a small slug-like being approached him, he was terrified of course, but he was also about to be dinner. It couldn't speak but it wasted no time crawling up his arm, onto the side of his head, into his ear, and then into his skull where it attached to his brain. Turns out it was some kind of brain symobiote. Luckily, it wasn't scared o' nothin' and managed to use his body to fight thier way out of the floran camp using just his bare hands and his wits.
After getting back to his ship, the symboite, which could now speak to him since it was directly connected to his brain, explained what was going on. He said his name was 'Rusty.' At first Zackary wanted him out, but he managed to convince him that they needed each other since neither one is truly capable of surviving on thier own. Now Rusty sits silently in zackary's skull feeding off of his brain chemicals. He doesn't tend to say or do much unless the sitaution calls for it, but it's pretty common for zackary to black out and then wake up somewhere else with no particular memory of what happened, until rusty shows him that is.

Yes I realize this is a tad complicated.

 

Eridium sounds just like the type of Gary Stu that I was mentioning.
So the way you "limit" player power is by creating NPC's that are essentially railroad tracks for the PC's to stay on in order to keep playing.
Will have to see how that works out.

 

I was being literal when I said there was always a bigger badass, control power with more power, etc etc. People are gonna godmode no matter what you do, so may as well make a very terrifying standard so the message is clear.

It will be common in the RP, especially during events

 

I mean about 75-80% of the work is already done in the initial SB universe, unless you plan to take it waaaaayyy out there.
The hardest thing will probably be coming up with varied encounters and problems for us to face.
Also: is there an option to split with a select few and RP with them? Might be easier than trying to do it with 15 people at once (but I don't want to exclude anyone either).
