Enraged Koala - Shiplocker Disappeared!

After the Enraged Koala update today I kept crashing when my ship would load in after selecting a character. Then, after the most recent patch I could finally play without crashing, but my shiplocker and a large majority of the chests I had on my ship were missing.

Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't made a backup in a while so I there is probably no way of me fixing it.

 

yesyes. 200+ hours mining/collecting down the tubes. my saves dont even work! *sigh*

 

yep gone, others mentioned chests and stuff disappearing in threads too.

edit: Restoring save files didn't fix the problem either. Many of my existing chests left after this cause me to crash. Guess I will have to transfer items, delete, and remake to get locker back

Same happened to me. Some of my chests disappeared (one being my pixel storage chest *sigh*), along with the ship locker.. I also crashed shortly after going to my home planet to grab up some stuff in case of a world wipe..

 

Same here, Half my lockers are gone and if I click on specific ones then i crash.

 

Yes, my ship's lockers are either gone or make the game crash when I open them. Also, I cannot add fuel to the ship. New characters made after the patch are fine. Old ones, not so much...

Was fine after the first patch - something in the second did not have happiness.

Edit: Ze backups do nothing! Ah, well. Such is beta life.

 

Same here, I was fine after the 1st patch. Did a reload, got patched and all my characters are borked. So much for this round.

 

Another instance here. And I'm not using any mods, so it's a problem with how things have been re-structured. I can live with losing what's in storage if I must. A lot of vital stuff is on the home planet. But I'll wait to continue to hear what the devs find.

In one save the locker is completely covered over by the back wall panels. (A Hylodel ship to be specific.) In the other two it's replaced by what looks like flat wood. Trying to access the blank panel crashes the game. (Florian and Glitch ships)

Also, the error did not ocure with the first part of the update earlier today. I was able to play fine with the code updates before any of the content was added. The update moment ago adding valentine items and such is what broke it. Therefore I'm thinking it's an error to do with some of the new items and item organization.

 

My locker also disappeared. I run no mods. Guess i'll have to make a new character :\

 

Tiy just tweeted that a hotfix was coming out to restore and fix missing chests.

 

same....really wish I would have checked the forums first before trying to restore various files for the past 30 mins. Didnt even realize there was an update through steam

 

Well my game updated, I played for awhile, and all was fine.

Went to do something else, and noticed the game updated again. Now my shiplocker is gone, my 3D printer and tech station is gone, and all the chests on my ship are gone which had everything really important in them.

Not sure what to do now. Wait for another update to fix it I guess ?

 

Yeah, the hotfix will be here soon.

 

My fuel hatch is missing, too.

 

same here. i kept crashing every time i tried to interact with my stone furnace so i just place it in my inventory and re placed it on my ship and it was fine. while underground i fell in lava and when i re spawned on my ship i used the stone furnace then harvested my garden. it was when i went to place extra seeds in shiplocker i noticed it was gone. i saved and quit thinking it might be there when i went back in game but it wasnt. i saw an update occurred a few hours ago and i hope this is the cause and that it will be back?

 

whelp...I loaded the game after the hotfix and everything was still missing. Quit the game and tried my character backup files from yesterday and upon character select the game crashed while loading with a runtime error.

 

Yep hotfix didn't work for me in that regard either. Will try another restore, but suspect will have same issue as you. Restore didn't have a runtime error, but still lacks lockers, chests, etc.
