RELEASED Enhanced Storage 6.0.4

Well... I had taken the liberty to rename my containers to different names and such, and it turns out that doing that gives me the ability to move my filled containers around again without trouble. Try doing that before picking them up.

 

The problem is known in the steam workshop. I uploaded a fix in steam workshop a few minutes ago. After some testing by the communty I will update the mod over here too! I'm sry. :/

Seriously? Three updates PER DAY?

 

I for one, are happy about the quick updates. Nothing worse than waiting weeks for a broken mod to be fixed by someone else.

 

This is a fantastic mod. I love being able to remodel my house with ease by just moving containers around without having to empty and refill all of them. It does feel like a bit of a cheat when my inventory is full deep inside a planet's crust but I try to resist the temptation to abuse that feature, heh.

My only real complaint is the Blueprint Boxes. The container crafting station is a great idea and really feels like it's part of the regular game, but acquiring those blueprints from small woodland creatures is a bit immersion breaking. I mean, why would dumb animals have random container blueprints? Is it possible to make the blueprints only appear in chests, or maybe only drop from intelligent humanoid enemies?

i'm having issues... i think there might be a conflict with another mod, but i'm not sure which xD


which makes me wonder, are you patching, or completely relacing stuffs?

edit: it doesn't crash the game, it just sends me back to the main menu
i also noticed it doesn't do that with the default ship locker... just... everything else xD

edit2: fixed it. i had another mod that did the same thing xD all i had to do was unsubscribe to the other mod

 

This error is caused by the combination of Enhanced Storage and Improved Containers.

 

Given that you are willing to mess with item sorting, including multiple criteria, one that might be useful for food is sorting by how much time until it spoils, even if it's the least priority criteria.

 

Just want to notify that I'm unable to sort inside some containers, generally ship locker, big shipping container, large wooded crate and weapon chests.

 

Hi, I've noticed after updating to version 2.6 that several of my existing containers can't be sorted. so far this includes; my ship locker filled with many things and a metal box full of seeds from Vanilla, FU and Ore Plants, if that's relevant. After removing all of the items from the seed box then replacing them I was able to sort it successfully, but when i closed the container, got more seeds, put them in and tried to sort again it no longer functioned. I'm using the Hoarder addon. Also, I'd like to say that this is an excellent mod, one that I consider completely necessary to enjoy the game without the constant tedium of manual storing, sorting and searching. Thank you for making it and continuing to work on it, keep up the great job. I really like the new method of sorting by rarity, makes it much easier to find things in my opinion.

 

It would be great, if we could assign specific priorities to sorting criteria.

Also: Asero: i could think of more options than just "every 37 minutes" and "every 5 weeks", like... once per day maybe.

 

The current version 2.6 have a problem with sorting some items from Frackin Universe. The make both mods compatible I worked on a new update. I pushed the update to Steam Workshop and the non-steam version comes in a few minutes.

Hey, everything's working great here so far on 2.7 with the Hoarder expansion, just wanted to say thanks for all the time and effort you've put in, and the frequent updates.

Are you kidding? Frequent updates are great! As a fellow developer, I know it can be a pain to update every time someone finds a bug if you're focused on other projects, and this is an add-on myself and the members of my server have been *waiting* to update. That NeoVanAlemania got on, updated the mod, and then continued to update the mod with hotfixes as they discovered bugs/bugs were reported -- that's awesome! Don't rag on 'em for it. It's hard enough to find active developers / to stay motivated to work on things as a developer, they really don't need damned-if-you-do damned-if-you-don't naysaying from both sides. If you don't like it, turn off notifications for it. Jeez.

 

Sorting of saplings is currently bugged and breaks the entire script. I'm working on a fix right now.
