To add irregularity to the game I think it would be awesome if enemies and pets had levels. This would mean a robot at level 1 might do 5-8 damage and have 25 health per say. Now a robot at level 3 might do 10-12 damage and have 35 health. Also the higher the level the enemy the better chance you have to get better drops and they might drop items that the lower level monster don't drop and they would be harder to get as pets. As for the pets this could be rewarding to stay with your favorite pet to fight with you instead of just choosing one that is found later on in the game. If you had a level 1 robot pet it might do 4-8 and have 25 health. Now a dragon you might find later at level 1 might do 30-32 damage and have 120 health. But if you kept with that robot because you really like it it might get up to level 15 and it might then do 33-36 and have 115 health. and just another idea to the thought the higher the level it might be able to do different things. so a level 1 might shoot a bullet at the enemy while the level 15 might shoot multiple rockets or lasers at the enemy making getting the at first weak robot up to a higher level much more rewarding than just switching out for a stronger monster you just found. If there are revision you would think make this idea more viable please post them or why you don't like the idea. If you like the idea please post why so you can get more people to see why you like this idea!
I'm pretty sure this is already confirmed. Monsters are randomly generated (I'm pretty sure that's inclusive of stats), which is actually a step up from this suggestion in my opinion. Also, pets have stats, which I'm fairly certain can also be upgraded. There is a stickied thread on confirmed game information in General Discussion, in case you haven't read it. (Sorry if I come off as condescending, I'm just trying to help.)
As much as I like this idea, I would prefer it being more of a minor bonus rather than have a decent part of the game going into your pets. This reminds me of how a lot of MMOs treat pets and enemies Just a tip for your writing skills, try to make breaks in the text here and there so people don't feel like there's a wall of text to read.
Hey thanks I didn't see that so I thought I would suggest it guess I will have to look more carefully next time I didn't think of having texts breaks before but thanks because when I see some people post it looks just like how I did it and I just kinda feel a bit overwelmed by how much texts it looks like lol.
Levels... Would make pets kinda like pokemon. Not saying they would be bad,... What'll be next? Gyms?
