Bug/Issue Emily Heart Events gitlab crash

I've just started playing/modding the game, but I've run into an issue where whenever the game triggers an Emily Heart Event that involves a scene transition and/or "acid effects"(rainbows, screen filters/distortions/etc) the game freezes and this just starts looping in the SMAPI window. I've tried a couple different saves and different heart events. I've also included an image of when the game loads to get an idea of what mods I have installed.
