    First off for feedback, what exactly does the jumpgate do? Also, I think you should add an avikan/trink floor hatch. If either of these has been answered already, sorry, if not, I hope that this helps.

    I assume you mean the Avikan Vehicle Jumpgate? It's a decorative object with no gameplay implications, but lore-wise, that's the machine that warps your vehicles (and mounts) to you when you use a Keff Controller.

    Floor hatches are a great idea! I'll add them in the next update :nuruhappy:

    You may want to take a glance at Platform Hatches in that case and see if there's any additional inspiration to be found there.

    Unfortunately, it seems that liquids ignore racial descriptions... I might change the generic description to something like "Clear and fresh water" though - that way, the description will fit all races.

    Platform Hatches looks great! I think I'll add two hatches for all races: a regular one, and one that acts as a platform when opened.

    Unfortunate, suppose that'll be for Chucklefish to tweak later. As for changing the generic description, I don't know of any other mods that do that so it should work fine...

    Look for an Avikan Terve on desert planets, they're underground cities with small encampments above their entrances. There's a teleporter inside.

    Also, found a minor bug, but not sure if it's fixable:

    The Avikan cape is constantly stuck upright when riding a Keff.

    Ah, I hadn't thought of capes when I built the Blink Keff (it'll only happen with that vehicle). What is happening there is that, when you're riding a Blink Keff, the vehicle sets your character's animation state into the 'falling' state. The reason I made the vehicle do this is because the falling animation looked the most like a character sitting on a bike: you'll notice that on the Blink Keff, your feet are actually visible underneath the vehicle, as if they're placed on a motorcycle's footrest. The default sitting animation looked a bit silly on the Blink Keff, hence why I changed it into the falling animation. I doubt it's possible to change the animation state of back items individually, but I'll look into it.

    That explains it! I hadn't even thought to check if it did the same thing with a regular Keff. Oh well - I can see your logic with the animation state, and it does have a nice effect overall, so if it's between the better riding animation or the cape not being stuck upwards, pick the animation.

    Speaking of the Avikan Terves, what kind of camp is above them? The one tent/one avikan camps or the military outposts with multiple guards?

    The main door of a Terve looks like this but can only be opened from inside unless you break down the door, which will annoy the guards. The side entrance is a small tunnel with a few antennas and a tent near it and looks like this.

    Press C to open your crafting menu and craft it by hand. You'll need drops from killing mobs with Avikan hunting weapons - your ship locker at start will contain a hunting knife and spear perfect for this. Weaken the enemy with your spear, then close in and land the finishing blow with your knife.

    As FireFangs mentioned, that is probably a side effect of a merchant who first spawned in a previous mod version trying to sell the old Meat Chunk item before it was renamed for compatibility issues. The Meat Chunk isn't exactly hard to craft, but if you desperately need that merchant's inventory fixed I recommend a universe reset. That's using a cannon to kill a mosquito, though.

    Edit: Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but tapestries don't "hang" - that is, you can't attach them to a ceiling or part of a wall, they have to be attached directly to a backwall. I intended to make an open-air plaza with Avikan banners hanging from a shade roof, but it isn't working unless I wall the entire structure in.

    Looks like I'm still hunting for a Terve then. I only found surface camps so far. Granted I already have access to the Refuge though. Speaking of that, are we ever going to be able to explore the rest of the ship? There are a few locked door I want to break in....

    Edit: Amazing. Ten minutes later, I found the exact same side entrance as the pic.

    The tapestries only hang from background walls because it allowed for more placement options than always having them hang from the ceiling. However, not that I'm more familiar with how the placement system in Starbound works, I think I might be able to allow them to hang from either the background or the ceiling. I'll do some testing and get back to you on this!

    Yes, you will definitely get to explore some of the locked-off sections of the Refuge in a later update! I designed those corridors with future expansions in mind, and made sure to leave enough room for more rooms to be added later on!

    Tapestries can now be hung from both the walls and the ceiling! An update for the mod is coming sometime during the next couple of days, which will include this change along with some other fixes and some new content.
