Electric version of Magma Worm needs to be nerfed

I think the electric magma worm needs to be nerfed. The thing dived me and I lost over 75% of my health because of it
It has to do with all of his segments being able to shock you. I know this is how he's supposed to work, but the damage output is insane
What are your thoughts about this?

If you complain about electro worm, you should complain about all electro-prefix mobs. I don't find them OP though.

well at least I can keep the regular electro-mobs away from me, and if they hit me it's not such a big deal as with the worm.

Then keep worm away. Yeah, this can cause troubles for miner and HAN-D, but miner can use X, C and V to damage worm without any danger and HAN-D are pretty well armored to deal with.

I don't think he's OP either - he's a boss that actually does damage to you once you near godhood. That's fine by me!

I remember running into this guy on the second stage during a normal difficulty co-op run. He did similar amounts of damage as described by the OP.

I think that while the damage dealt is reasonable at godmode, this boss' really is too high earlier in the game, to the point where it really is run-ending.

The other point is that even though HAN-D is tanky, I doubt his healing skill would be enough on its own to protect against this, and he wouldn't have any other way to avoid the attack most of the time. If this happened then, it would also end up being similarly run ending.

Not to mention that while almost all characters have the ability to damage a boss or enemy at range, the miner's only two safe options are his x and c. Together, they won't deal enough damage to make it a fun fight. C only does 120% damage, and would be necessary to keep the other crowds controlled and avoid the worm and while X does 600% damage, it would only deal this much every 10 seconds, which is infrequent enough to make an already long fight against a boss with a huge amount of hp even more ridiculously long.

I think the biggest problem with the blue magma worm, and all electric mobs, is how goddamn far away from them you can be and still get zapped. Also, if this boss is the only enemy that still does real damage when you're way OP, doesn't that mean it's way out of balance with the rest of the game? And what happens when you meet him early on in your run? Your run is over.

I dunno, maybe it's just me but I've never ran into him earlier than 30~ minutes. He only starts showing up once you've hit 'Very Hard' or 'Impossible'. And yes, HAN-D can tank his attacks as I ran into him early on in a run once and was able to take him.

I've only had one godhood run in the latest version, but he didn't do significant damage. IMO the other bosses need to be brought up to HIS level if he's the only one that can deal real damage! :p
The Orange Wandering Vagabond is pretty close to his level though, what with it's double-attack. I've also had serious problems with the Stone Golem that summons jellyfish, because I let it sit on the other side of the map for too long and I was flooded in jelly.

The Ancient Wisp, however, has no difficult form. I've got to admit, Ancient Wisp is pretty... lackluster. He just floats left and right a little and rakes the ground now and then. He needs some flashy animations to get on the level of the other bosses.

Wait, what double attack from the red vagrants? It's the orange(quick type) vagrants that launch double the orbs.

Orange Vagrant is explosive-type. Yellow is quick-type. Red is fire-type and is a free kill because his orbs currently do single digit damage.

Ancient Wisps are too easy in general. He does good enough damage with his attack to be a threat, but the attack is easily avoided. The biggest threat from the A. Wisp is how he turns into 2 greater wisps and 2 wisps upon death. Since they can attack instantly and simultaneously upon spawning, they can gib an unprepared/damaged melee character.

Stone Golems are too easy in general, with the exception of the shock-type that can be a pain. The jellyfish have a lot of life and deal a lot of damage mid-game (second cycle or so), but they aren't as big of a threat in early or late game.

Sorry you are right, I meant Orange type. I have no idea why I said Red...
Haha, yeah! I've totally been eaten by this before. I do fear the mobs more than the A.Wisp unfortunately.

Actually the Ancient wisps are easy even with their death spawed childlings, just make sure to jump as they die to avoid that 'SURPRISE' fireblast to the face. :p

I would like to mention that Ancient Wisps are probably the only boss capable of being stunned, also the only monster in the game that gets an inverted look to it when it is.

I don't see why people always freak out about dying in a run. It happens all the time. This game was supposed to be annoying and hard.
