I would just like to thank you for being a modder, people like you who commit and add to a community of people who they don't even know, and probably will never meet, truely deserve their spot on this planet, especially since you do it for free. Would be awesome if you had a donating button By the way: I have a suggestion for your mod, maybe add another machine like the grinder (or add the recipes to the grinder itself) which turns alloy back into the original metals (even though it woulden't make sense IRL, I don't think all mods should be about immresion). I.E: Steel bar to Iron bat and 1 oil, or just Iron bar, that way it wouldn't be so 'cheaty'. Thanks for your time reading this comment!1
I really appreciate your words, and I think that is a great idea for being able to break some bars down into their core components, you can expect to see something to that effect in the next update. As for a donation button, the thought had never occurred to me, and my mods will always be free, I am 100% against charging for mods. Modding is a hobby, not a profession.
Even as a hobby, some deserve rewards. Modders put alot of time into their mods, and I can't really see myself, and many others doing the same, since, for me, modding isn't so enjoyable. (Atleast for me), so again, thank you
A general suggestion, mostly because you have the grinder: There was a mod from last year called "TS Technologies" - http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/ts-technologies.5/ Obviously it covered a wide array of stuff, much of which isn't particularly appropriate for your mod, but it had one thing that seems like it might be - the ability to grind up various "crap blocks" (as I call them) into rock dust, and then the ability to change that rock dust into ingots. The exchange rates were on the order of 1 dust per 2-48 blocks (I believe meteor rock was one of the most "dense" rocks to crush, and stuff like common dirt was in the 48 range,) and then you could craft 4 dust into an iron bar, or 24 dust into a bar of aegisalt. Edit: I know you're looking for assets - I'll note that TS Technologies appears to be a dead mod, and the assets contained within are freely distributable by the license. Plenty of machine-y stuff in there.
Thank you! It means alot to me for someone to want to help me out like this. I don't really even know how to express my gratitude. Thats a bunch, I really like this idea, will be implemented for sure.
