Easter Eggs

I strongly suspect the possibility that there's already a Terraria Easter Egg in-game... Remember the Mech Girl Wallpaper? Don't those ears & some of the facial features look suspiciously 'goblin-like'? I strongly suspect the possibility that the Female Mechanic NPC in the game might have gotten those interesting 'features' from her Father's side, & her Mechanical Skills from her Mother's side...

 

How about a Black Egg referring to the Ender Egg in Minecraft?
Or a Diamond Pickaxe stuck in a rock?

 

Those are cameos, which are a different story. It's already confirmed creepers will make a cameo.

My idea of an Easter Egg... this might not be for everyone, but how about a Medieval Planet with dead primitive town guards with Arrows stuck in their Knees?

Ok, i'll get serious now. An 'Ancient Nord Helmet' that shows equipped on the Player's Head when equipped in the Head Armor Slot, & simultaneously can be set in the Hotbar... & when used, (Can only be used/fired when actively equipped on the Head, ya don't get to just hold the Helm in your hand, point it at the enemy, & 'fire' it.) it "FUS RO DAH!!!" the enemy with a HUGE Knockback Stat & plays the Fus Ro Dah Voice from the Skyrim Trailer! (Just the Voice, not the BGM that accompanies it too.) Possible permanent Helm Selection right there... until/unless enemies get strong enough to force me *ahem* us to get practical again.

Edit: Oops, shoulda mentioned the first time... this Helm should have the strongest Knockback Stat of all Weapons in the game! If this was a cool enough idea & could actually get implemented, I wonder if this would be the kinda thing saved for a Pre-Order kinda deal?

 

On an ocean planet you could have dolphins singing so long and thanks for all the fish if you interacted wih them.

 

CURIOSITY ROVER!

 

Have a pink-haired NPC tell you exactly why oatmeal is for the mentally unstable.

 

The Portal end credits in Starbound? I really don't now.

Maybe you could find it one a skeleton with a shield and sword in hand? I still really don't know.

 

an npc that used to be a superior warrior but was crippled by an arrow to his knee. he could sell armors and swords, but also give epic quests.

 

Don't underestimate enemies just because they're on a much lower Tech Level... Lower Tech Lethality is still Lethality.

Another Terraria Easter Egg I would welcome with open arms: Terraria's Jungle/Underground Jungle BGM, possibly Remixed & better than ever! Hmm... Now that I think of it... I wonder if Starbound equivalent of Music Boxes are a possibility? Maybe this could be an Easter Egg too?

or the audio from him.

 

my favorite addons would be: the cookie monster in his trash can. a boss with a ton of hp named Brett Favre. a giant purple dinosaur named barney. mario and his brothers. and some oldschool silver-gold-crystal pokemon. it would be awesome if you could keep a pokemon as your pet(you can have pets already), and train it(you can already level up pets.)

 

Definetly an Aliens Reference

IE Any of the helmets from the movies ( I believe one of the people wore a helmet that said "Born to kill" )

Also, I know they already have the pulse rifles, which in itself is AWWEEESSSOOOOMMMEEEE...

But would it hurt to have an NPC somewhere in the universe that dies in a mission, and says "Game over, man, game over!"? Those subtle kind of easter eggs are sort of my favorite. That or a Space marine (Aliens one) Somewhere in the universe.
