It would make sense for a repeating character to mark the line of a chapter though... It's probably just math! I HATE MATH

 

Maybe the picture is telling us to replace "..." with Banana? I can't seem to figure out these 0/O's.

 

I really think that Banana has something to do with the solution, but in what way? (I might just be going insane tough)

 

I believe that the singular periods are spaces and the triple periods (ellipses) are periods (or ends of sentences). I also figure that these use alpha-numaric swapping systems. Because (taking away the periods) there are 27 different characters, allowing for numbers and letters. With that said, this code probably excludes some numbers, and some letters (namely the probability of Z, Q, X and Y are relatively low). This is just how I'm trying to solve it.

This is still really funny, since you guys ignored one thing. Geez guys! The one time they gave you a hint to the right direction, and you ignored it xD

 

I think they've simultaneously over- and underestimated us. Overestimated our ability to see the obvious and underestimated our ability to make things needlessly complicated.

Observations about the rest of the image:
The featured Avian is female, using beak style 5, plumage style 23, and fluff style 10.
The armor she's wearing seems to be a slightly modified version of shirt type 1 and pants type 1.
She's prominently red, white, and black.
The five vials on the shelf above the computer seem to be, from left to right, red, blue, red, green, blue.

 

Well Excuse you mister High and Mighty. We're trying, and we have no idea what we could EVER be looking for as we only have one egg so far.
