Each one of the races' set personalities are unlikable

Human: Idiot, killed his entire crew

Hylotl: Peaceful but absolutely arrogant and full of themselves

Glitch: I actually don't have much problem with them at all, other than they are just robots.. (No souls.. spooky)

Avian: Okay, but forces you to be atheist (Wut if i wunnuh believe in Kluex?)

Apex: Ugly, and think they are smarter than everyone else (which may be true)

Floran: Uncivilized, want to eat everyone else.

Novakid: Greedy and Selfish

Call me a racist, but I'm not digging these personalities. Disagree? Agree? Tell me below

[Note]: To those thinking I have issues trying to find one that I find playable, it's not, I'm just sharing my opinion and looking for some people that also have their own opinions on the races

This is not entirely accurate. Yes, the Avian player does not believe in Kluex as a god, but that really doesn't make the Avian player an atheist because Kluex is not a god anyways. The player can still decide if they want their character to believe in the Sunborn (as mine does).

Custom races to the rescue .

I'm playing as a "Felin" woop woop

 

Haha yeah, I love playing as Argonian.. my only problem is most of the races are unfinished and have nothing custom to them other than lore, and maybe tier 1-2 armor/weapons.

 

I am playing as a Ningen, though I'd like to make a non-humanoid playable race someday.

 

Honestly, I really wish each race option came with a set of personality/background options. Like,
Avian:
Atheist
Kluex Missionary
Escaped Convict

Something like that. I'd probably like Florans a lot more if I didn't have to deal with their sociopathy.

 

That would be.. awesome. I'd give this game a 97/32 then.

 

Floran: Aggressive but absolutely humble and full of [humans, apex, hylotl, whatever else fits in their mouths]

 

I guess getting eaten by them is a good enough reason to dislike them

 

I really like the races. Not really Hylotl or Novakid but the rest? Great and interesting. Apex and Florans are my favourites.

 

Personally, I like the human screw-up and being a Hylotl missionary BECAUSE they're snooty, despite my personal aesthetic being admittedly terrible, something my Hylotl guard is keen to remind me on with his snarky comments.

Rude, not a troll thread. Pretty sure putting my opinion on the races/what I dislike about them can't be considered 'awful' unless your saying my opinion is awful, which is your opinion. (It's your opinion either way lol)
