Dwarven town

Those halls are not for the ones, who lives above.
Those halls are for the ones, who was born underground.
Those halls are the heart and soul of the mountain.
Those are the Halls of the Mountain King!

Okay, excuse me, for the unnesessary pompous speech. But I spend 5 nights to create this place. I put my heart and soul in it and had a lot of stress, when the game wanted to stop working.
I know, it could be MUCH cooler. I could use more different materials. I could color the blocks with my paint tool...
But I still really like my work. And Im really sad that the game has so little items, wich can be described as "dwarven"....

Also I forgot to put the guards on the city's entrance! D=

That's a lot of detail! Must have taken a lot of patience to build all of that. I especially like the hall with the crystals on the pedestals.

 

The longest and the best part was the lowest levels. If you look closely, you will see, how my work progressed with the new materials... The lowest one gave me the crystal blocks. =3

 

It's all so pretty and amazing.

Maybe it's just me, but "town" sounds a little bit insufficient to describe this thing o' beauty.

 

This is true!

 

For the City there is not enough living houses.

 

I have the same thoughts, when I see other people's creations.

 

Very good combination of blocks and pillars. I really like those walls, they may not have much colour, but it's just fine for a dwarven town.

The pillar idea came to me long ago, when I was playing Minecraft, so I always wanted to build something dwarven anywhere I can build.

Also, I see you have Architect award... what have you got it for?

 

I was thinking about "fort", "stronghold", "citadel" or something along those lines. But maybe dwarven towns are just built big and mighty like that, dunno.

 

Nobody knows actually. But... =)

OH! I know, what I should do! I need to build a dwarven village on the surface.And then builad an elevator , wich will go down... And then put another city in there. Bugger and more monumental. With awesomer combinations and crystal trees.

Well... Not exactly vanila. Some of them were on Nightly only. But I didn't used any mods =)
