Durasteel Weapons/Armor?

So I beat the third boss and crafted the starmap to get into Dela sector, as well as unlock the new crafting recipes. So many amazing things! The monster capture station! Grappling hooks! Mining Drills!!! But...I don't seem to have unlocked any new weapons or armor? I see an armor set titled Makeshift but it uses Steel and Matter Blocks rather than Durasteel. Did the game bug out on me, or are there no Durasteel weapons or armor right now?

 

Bumping this as I have reached same point. in fact I went beyond this point and got the "durasteel tech upgrade" but that unlocked aegisalt, not durasteel

 

May I ask you how you did it? Because I got the 40 durasteel bars but I don't know how to obtain the other item which I need to craft this tech upgrade...

Shouldn't Aegisalt be obtainable on level 5 planets? It might unlock those recipes when you've acquired one

 

You need to craft a capture station, and create a peanut butter trap. Place it down and DUCK!

Once you make the durasteel upgrade it unlocks aegissalt crafting and sector X, which is the temporary sector with all the remaining tiers of materials and world types.

That's great and all, I've actually already got the item from the fourth boss, I just need to get some more Durasteel to craft the upgrade, but the fact remains that I don't see any Durasteel weapons or armor available to craft, is this just the state of things for now? Craftable weapons and armor don't exist on tier 4 and I need to get into tier 5+ before I can craft those items again?

 

My reply was aimed at ScratcH's question. I'm in same boat as you - no durasteel weapons or armour appeared for me, even after i unlocked Aegisalt

 

You guys are a step ahead of me. Am I blind? How do I even craft/find Durasteel? I see no recipe for it

 

It's in the robotic crafting table.

 

the durasteel weapons/armor are in the metelworks station (or whatever its called)

 

Durasteel weapons are in the same place as all other weapons for me. But Durasteel armor is crafted at the robotic table, not anvil, unlike other armor sets.

 

Ive got the weapons unlocked but not the armor. still trying to work out if it can be modded in..
