So far every planet I've been to has had exactly one major dungeon or city to interact with and I think this is a mechanic that needs to be changed. Why not have another identifier for planets informing the player of how many dungeons/cities there are? Barren = 0 Isolated = 1 Populated = 2 Thriving = 3 and so on. There's no reason why larger planets cant house more than one event on its surface. Just an idea. Also as an end game item, perhaps something craftable that scans the planet and lets you know if there is civilization down there (i.e towns) or if its just ruins (i.e dungeons) or both.
I found a giant planet with two separate tombs and a small sewer-structure that wasn't underground. I've found an avian village on the same planet as a prison. I've found planets with nothing. The last part is planned, I think, or something similar to it.
