'Hey Davron, how do you suggest we make it to the pillar in this hunk of junk? Let's wait for any other cars to come, there's safety in numbers.' He scans the path between the pillar and their location.
He checks his wands and makes sure he brought enough crystals and lenses... "I agree, but we'll still have to watch out. I'll try and keep us in the center of the cars... Hopefully you can focus enough magic if need be..."
there are several vehicles waiting at the gate as well, waiting for one person to go out. each has a large number of people on top, except for one smaller vehicle you have 2 crystals of each of the 6 basic elements. each is packed in a standard issue cartridge- they are pretty decent sized (the size of a quarter). ( mana- 4 (mana total: 45), magic-6), each you are in a large pillar hub- the structure is wide and open, with a veiw down to the slums below -------------------------------------------- -gallhager you fail to notice the falling machine gun LUCK-10 but it surprisingly does not blow up. luck-8 enemy luck-4 the thunderbird has not noticed you- yet (damn, forgot to add perception to the applist) you manage to get to the armory- the enforcers have already set up a barricade and luck-6 enemy luck-4 they fail to notice you
Gallagher searched the armoury, looking for anything substantial enough to be a threat to the thunderbird.
-gallhager luck-7 enemy luck-7 there is one enforcer confiscating goods in here- and a whole lotta bodies. gunfire can be heard outside as the thunderbird meets up with them.
Mars leads the kids to the bus, up to the back entrance, he gets Tyler to watch the kids there as he tries to get the door open with his magic. Mars decides to use his gaseous magic on the door's piston, trying to open the door just a little bit so he can get through to open the emergency exit out back.
everyone is starting the real trouble now, so have some nice music accuracy- -4 gun, dex 7, roll 2, net -3 you fail to hit the guard luck-3/7 enemy luck-4/20 (you had lower chances here.) the guard fires upon you, and you here yelling from outside- they heard enemy shot- basic material pistol, 6 damage, -4 accuracy dex 4, -4 accuracy, roll 7. the guard fails to hit you the place is empty of people- no one gets close to enforcer barricades unless it is necessary you could ask the enforcers or keep going the kids- well, they are closer to high school age, none under the 17 year old awakening age, stay there. they are silent and scared INT:6, roll 6. total 4 roll against 10 you forget that door pistons need to be depressurized instead of pressurized to open the door magic 6. +5 adept bonus. roll 5. total 8 resistance roll: 8. total: 4 the bus piston blows out from pressure, and luck: 10 (you lucky bastard!) the door blows open. not what you wanted, but just as effective luck: 8 enemy luck- 2/20 nobody is competing for the bus yet. they seem intimidated by your numbers
(Oh yeah! This is my favorite of the soundtrack!) He loads a wand with one of the energy crystals... Hopefully he can drive well enough with one hand and aim with the other.
Gallagher kept the pressure on, ducking behind some nearby cover before resuming his fusillade against the enforcer guard.
(HELL YES) Mars rushes in and to the back of the bus, opening the emergency door at the back of the bus, letting the kids get in one at a time, watching the street for enforcers.
Tyford turns to Davron. 'Ok, once we get a few more people, let's head out.' He keeps his eye out for any wayward abominations.
(lmao you could have just used the regular door)\ luck-9 no enforcers yet. now you just need to start the bus they are always there, in the shadows. you can see one car drive off- several people are plucked from the top, others panic and run off of it . the car disappears into the darkness- is it safe? not sure
(But I already lined everyone up :[ ) Mars sits down in the driver's seat after everyone's in place. He looks for keys or something to start the vehicle with.
