luck- 1 the key doesnt work. the novakid probably fucked it up with the hotwireing enemy roll- will 4 (-1) roll 3 (-2)=-3 your roll- charisma 9 (+5) roll 4 (-1)=4 "Identification? if that checks out, yer free to go"
Switching the protalite dial to the setting that might provide an 'incendiary' effect, Gallagher took aim at the 'thunderbird' and fired a burst from the machine gun at it.
@Jareix Cryvix 'Know how to hotwire a car?' He finishes typing in the holopad, putting it away in an inner pocket.
-gallagher switching to the red dial, you fire. thunderbird- agility 6, roll 2, net 0 roland: Dex 7, aerial enemy -4, roll 6, net 1 you just manage to hit the thunderbird(one shot) Gun: damage 16, roll 10, element roll 1, 1 bonus damage. total 18 thunderbird- toughness 20 hp lost- 17 hp left- 163/180 will-6, roll 1. net- -2 magic-5, roll 2. net - -2 the eyes of the bird seem to stare into your eyes. not much happens, but you do feel a bit intimidated will-1 for the next turn INT:10 DEX-6 roll:10=14 car roll:1 you succeed in hotwiring the car in record time (holy fuck you lucky bastard) the street is teaming with crowds running. no enforcers- yet luck- 8 enemy luck-9 enemy has a scanner in his pocket charisma- 9, shaky -3. roll 3. total - 0 he scans the ID if it is fake, he knows now. (is it fake?)
Well, if it bleeds one can kill it. Gallagher continues to fire at the thunderbird; the feeling of dread welling up from the fact that he won't be able to knock it out soon enough.
"Agh, damn it." Mars mutters. He starts down the street in the direction of crowds running, shuffling the kids forward. "It looks like there isn't really much transport available right now.." Mars says to his assistant.
thunderbird- agility 6, roll 8, 6 total dex 7, aerial enemy -2, roll 4, total 0 you fail to hit the bird with any shots the thunderbird starts going into a dive right at the tower- with its size it will knock you right off the assistant, tyler, points to a luck roll: 10! large bus down the street- you are toward the back so no one has tried to steal it yet none toward the back gate- yet dexterity 6, roll 6, total 4. you manage not to hit anyone as crowds dive out of the way as they run- some jump on top of the tiny car to try to get out of the city
Gallagher let go of the machine gun, and decided to evacuate. 'Mass times velocity equals right of way' after all, and he certainly wasn't going to get in the way. He ran for the tower's access and tried to book it before the thunderbird made its collision.
luck 5 vs 7 "yes... but i am going to have to search you" thunderbird- agility 6, roll 4, = 1 agility 6- roll 8= 6 you successfully make it out of the tower tower toughness- 15. tower roll- 2 thunderbird toughness- 20, roll 10 thunderbird destroys the tower completely, taking no damage from the body blow luck- 2 the machinegun falls off the tower- and it is falling near roland. this means trouble- the protalite powering such a big and old machine gun will be volatile you soon make it to the back gate- the gate is open and revealing the cold, dark Foundations, but it is 5 miles to the nearest pillar that has a way up- and without an armored car it will be dangerous
{ Loki opens the small backpack he has, it doesn't have much. Pack of smokes, clothes, lighter, bandages and....money.... } " Here ya go.... "
luck-9 the guard takes one of the cigarettes and lights it with the lighter, unceremoniously dropping them back in, spilling the cigarettes "here ya go. you are free to go"
{ Loki passes them, before picking his pace up to a brisk walk. } { He puts all the cigarettes back in the box before pulling one out, lighting it and smoking it himself } " I thought they would find me out for sure.... "
Gallagher announced over the radio "Ok, that didn't work; that just made it angry!" He made a beeline toward the barracks armoury, if he was going to 'slay' this thing, he wanted a missile launcher.
