Dragons have been semi-confirmed by one of the Devs as being in-game, whether that means as mobs/bosses/mounts/NPCs we really don't know. Having said that, I'm sure there must have been Dragon Mount suggestions already - It's still awesome though.
Dragons with space helmets and lazahs that go pew pew hehehe but I would wonder if they would have a variety of them.
Yeah I would like to see more eastern style dragons, I mean we had something like that in Terraria, why not in Starbound.
maybe when you beat the dragon boss, you get a dragon egg and when it hatches you can ride the dragon. same, but i would rather ride a western dragon to be honest. However i would be fine with eastern dragons, haven't seen a lot of those in games.
You could expand on that idea: A whole planet filled with all kinds of dragons and the dragon mother could be a boss or something like that.
Well, why not both eastern and western dragons? =p Both are only bad guys too much, we need some heroic dragons. =)
every game have dragons these days, at some point someone have to be brave enough to make a game without them /rolls eyes
as long as lore makes it clear it´s a alien reptilian creature called a dragon, not exactly the mythical fantasy dragons, I´m down with it ^^
i think some fantasy is okay, i mean this is the great unknown (space) we don't know what is out there. As long as there is a little fantasy genre in the game, i think it will be okay
even the unknown must abide to the laws of physics, there is a reason it´s called science fiction, there is enough fantasy games out there to drown a small town, in my book Starbound would benefit from treating fantasy like a dirty towel and stick to being sci-fi
I'm not saying the entire game has to be fantasy, i agree that starbound is sci-fi. I'm just saying that a little bit of fantasy would be okay.
