im mildy scared of:
birds
heights
humans
the dark
sleeping the wrong way
fire
sharp objects
spiders
my personal health
my mental health
my steak being undercooked
enclosed spaces
and especially large birds

hopefully i wont find starbound too scary.

 

All those things are in Starbound.

don't worry about Starbound being too scary. You'll always be able to carry a gun at least 1/3 the size of your character.

anyways, if you want to desensitize yourself to the overall scary-factor of the stuff you've listed, watch like 5 minutes of an Amnesia : The Dark Descent playthrough. If you manage to not run away from the computer, you'll probably find your overall scare-barometer to have changed values

please do not read this post as encouragement do actually watch a playthrough of "Amnesia : The Dark Descent". They're scary as all-f**k

 

Has watched a full playthrough of Amnesia, didn't get scared.

Still scared of spiders.

 

the other day a spider ran straight for me.
usually spiders run away.

the tables have turned it seems.
i dont find virtual spiders scary however.

 

just wait until one darts in your general direction that's big enough to make skittering noises when it passes over sheets of paper.
Only time I've actually cut and run away from my computer.

 

i was in an empty room
in the 360 degress he could have ran in he ran towards me.
he was in full attack mode.

until he got sqaushed by an argos catalouge.
always handy to keep an argos catalouge around.

despite the fact that argos is ripped off.

 

I use my slipper most of the time. It has +30 points in Spider-Killing.
if I can't get my slipper, I pull out my one-hit KO weapon.
The Vacuum Cleaner. +999 points to Spider-Killing. Fatal every time.
