I'd like to try this, but I want more information first, as this could just be a grab bag of viruses (no offence)

A virus can only appear as an executable program or as a corrupt piece of data being falsly interpreted by an executable program.
Chances are very unlikely (like, the end of the world), that a string containing letters to represent a melody can be modified THAT precisely that it is misunderstood by the interpreter and therefore damaging the system.

A noobish question. Will any kind of ABC notation be alright to use? Or will it have to be prosessed [in lack of a better word] or changed in any way?

 

ABC Notations are all good.

Not all ABC Notations will work, all the one's I've gotten from http://abcnotation.com/ crash the game. Butt all from http://www.lotro-abc.com/ have worked for me.

 

Okay, I need to chase my brother around playing the FF7 battle theme on the saxophone I found now. Forever.

It's phishing. He was trying to phish your account info.

Please don't use the word "hack" derogatorily. "Hacker" is not a negative term. It makes actual hackers look bad.

 

You dont deserve the term hacker, until you can do it like this

 

Several songs on here are bad and don't play well. Others are quite good.

 

Omg I found Chop Suey by SOAD on The Fat Lute and it's pretty awesome.

 

I downloaded it it is 100% legit

anytime i try and play a song on my lead guitar it doesnt work, the game just crashes. i tried it with multiple songs, including one downloaded from lotro-abc.com
please help
