True, but not many developers are as hands on with their community as Chucklefish is. Most leave forums to mods and don't put themselves out there aside from the odd announcement that they never watch.
I think sometimes people forget we are not dealing with EA or another faceless company, ignoring us while raiding our wallets and trying to capitalise on the industry. They are a small team who are only human and a new company which is still young itself, it takes time to develop a tough skin, especially when working on something you adore.

One of the devs already said a single comment can ruin his day.

Rage? If that's what you consider rage, a harsh word must seem like a hurricane of profanity.
As for "taking it out on someone", I know the difference between someone being cross with me because they're miffed, and being antagonistic solely to troll.

As for "Good/bad", I will take your note under advisement, and revise to "Positive/Negative".
    Or perhaps "Praise/Bitching".

When I first joined these forums, they were pretty chill. But they've become increasingly antagonistic over the months. Sousoke felt the need to argue that per capita, we're far more chill than antagonistic, but that wasn't my point.

It's not the raw number of positive/negative topics, it's the amount of defense/bitching that goes down when they collide and it keeps getting worse as time goes on. Especially whenever Chucklefish misses another deadline.

As is the wont of the internet, whenever something new arises to bitch about, there's not just one or two topics about it, but a surge of topics (and the moderators closing a whole bunch at once, to both consolidate the discussion to one location and keep the "flames" from spreading).

There are no bad reactions, only reactions that we agree or disagree with. It's the job of the developers to translate these reactions into feedback to improve PR and the game itself. They shouldn't pay attention to obvious trolling or people that get way too worked up over minor details, but at the same time I don't think any of us would be happy having devs that basically turn off their ears whenever the community has a problem to voice.

Another thing, just because you think you're right doesn't mean you are, and a majority isn't always right. Generally speaking

You guys just ook my d3 example too far. I just quoted that because for me it was the extremist example.
But i can quote others liker, Worms Revolution, Terraria, simcity v loljk, even Team fortress 2.

All that ones had the same things that are happening here.

Soon I'll start to follow project eternity and torment numeria, and i pretty sure that i'll see that stuff there too
so i just prepare myself no to be too surprised.

Oh yes, there are bad reactions, and if i had the time and patience i could trail them for you...

I never said that they should do that.

When did i say i was right about anything?
Or you're arguing that the reactions on the community lately aren't pretty bad?

come on man, Worms Revolution is terrible too. They tried to implement new things, but they did it crappily and cheaply. The chat was shitty and just did not work how it used to compared to Worms Armageddon. The rope was incredibly boring. There were only 3 background stages that came with the base game so it got boring fast. There was little to no weapon customization.

The worst part is how money grubbing the DLC was. 5 dollars for a set of weapons (the whole game is about weapons) and those sets of weapons were already in the previous games. Really, 5 dollars for napalm strike? That has been a part of worms for years, and I'm expected to pay extra for that.

There's a reason I put "Generally speaking" at the end, meaning I wasn't referring to just you, but everyone in general. And no, there aren't bad reactions, just reactions you don't like. Something like complaining to you might be a bad reaction in your mind, but a like minded individual would think that it is a good reaction, and that your reaction is bad.

But please, list some examples of a bad reaction to something, because I can't think of any

I personally don't like his reaction, but that just means I don't like it. There are people out there believe it or not that would agree with him, just not many

    Trolling detected by the way

I think at some point in my original post i said this

"I'm not saying you shouldn't address the concerns. It's just that being sad because some people are pressuring, making demands or just being jerks should't be a reason to let it ruin your day. "

Diablo 2 had loot in it with stats that were interesting and you didn't need a mastercard to progress.
