Dont unleash those pod on the ship~!

Well.. I was walking around and playing my music on my ship, had a few captured monsters in my quick item slots, and accidentally used one, Im not sure how to kill it.. and now its preventing travel to other planets, causing me to go into a constant state of planitary jumping. I can warp home, the planet im on and back to the ship, but I cant leave the planet. Anyone got any fixes for my issue? or at least a way to kill my poor little animal friend o3o?

 

i think you can "recapture" it by simply throwing another capture pod at it. atleast you could do that in the previous version. hope it helps.

 

You can kill it by placing a sawblade under it. ... or so I heard.

 

EDIT..... You should be able to pay a vet to put it down.

Heh I set a pet on my ship. killed my Tools guys and now roams around ready to chew on any new NPC I decide to bring home. ****-blocked me on valentine's day too!

put down some tesla coils and walk it over it.

 

I use a pistol that does explosive splash damage. That's pretty effective at getting them back into the pokéball.
Be careful throwing the pods on your ship though. I had one glitch through the roof and ride around up there for several days before he died. Dancing poop monsters all over the place.

 

I've never even thought about trying to capture a poop! It's like using the toilet in reverse! Brilliant!

 

I fail to see the downside

 

That's why a granade launcher or a rocket launcher is quite useful because you can kill your own pet with it =c
Or just throw yet another POKEBALL at it, that works too!

Ok.. so perhaps this may span wider than I beleived it to. Interplanitary travel is still impossible, even after my little cream soda colored sidekick was returned to his small pod. What might be causing this. And its only this one character to my knowlage that has this problem

 

AHA! I just cant seem to travel to magma/Volcano planets. Not sure why, I just cant, I get stuck in an endless loop of jumping.

 

It's because they're buggy. There's a mod-based fix for this; I'll come back and link it as soon as I find it again.

Recapturing your monster? I would have never thought of that.
Kinda boggus to be honest, that should rehandled in later updates.

 

Well here we go with a 3rd problem... Starbound JUST went through an update, which I successfully installed, twice I might add, and yet, I seem to have the updated stuff, yet Im still running on the privious verson, for I cant join ANY servers

Are you sure the servers aren't running an older version than you are?
