Donor questions and suggestions

So i recently purchased the gold teir package and i came with the perk of naming a npc. I'd like to suggest that the game impliment a system to improve the ststem to the donors; any profile who has purchased an in game reward has a higher chance or finding thier contributed material than others, for instance, if someone has made a hat or gun, they have a 10% higher chance of finding their own contribution over regualr players or a npc has a higher chance of spawning on their creators servers and worlds.

 

As neat as an idea as it is, it would be an absolute NIGHTMARE to code. They'd have to have several thousand special lines of code and different client modifications for everyone to suit this idea.

 

Perhaps they could code this but adding the player name in brakets by the name or item, than they would only have to do a few lines of code that would check if the names match.

 

But then anyone could get the higher chance for the drop just by naming their character the correct name.
I don't think this would work out in any circumstance.

I think you will be pleased just having a chance to find your item or NPC. That random chance that you may
run across it sometime is quite exciting

 

If the profile name is synced with the wepon data, mabey it can be worked out, but i do agree with your point on rarity

 

There could be a login at startup that is linked to your forum account that confirms who you are. You know, for the purpose of playing on different computers and achievement/world syncing.

 

I cannot say for sure but I doubt there will be a login at startup.
Logging in at startup makes the game require an internet connection to be able to play.
This is a single player game with network capabilities for those who would like to play with others
or at least that is what I have gathered.

 

I think they would do some form of log in to conteract hackers and pirates, as well as since the game is downloaded online, an ofline mode may be dissmised( exluding single player) untill it's release on steam

 

Perhaps. I am unsure how they plan to implement anti-cheat measures. I just assumed they would let people set servers to new characters only. This would help stop bringing in cheated items and characters.
