Does your first character have a pre-determined backstory?

basically gents n lasses.

upon creating your first character do you already have an idea who you are going to be.. or are you going to just wander aimlessly.

Gabbo is going to be a spacer whilst scouring the nebula's and universes, once he gets back to the home-base thats where he becomes the mad scientist.. his tamed creatures and all the Npc's will fear his very presence.

He'll be a fair and just mad scientist, building them houses and farmlands.. but by night.. they will cower and mutter warnings to new spacers.. He will go down in history! he will be Legend

 

Starshiya Alex Shilkov is an explorer for the union and is always on the lookout for a place to colonize.

I might use one of my original characters, but the majority of them are also of original races, so I could only really use the one human character I gave a background to.

If I DO use her, her name is Kyra Winters, and, ironically was born on a terraformed Venus. She's a bounty hunter/mercenary. Basically if it gets her money and it involves punching, shooting, or flying, she will do it; her love of action might even surpass her love of money.

 

Sousuke Kuroda is an ambitious young lad that wants to go out into the galaxy and kill and enslave every single Apex and Novakid he can find, using the Novakids innards as fuel and the Apex as cheap labor to build his empire upon.

 

LOL it seems gabbo is not the only one around here who thinks chaotic evil is the way to be lol

 

The Union is a massive space nation adhering to the ideals of socialism and the valiant sacrifice for the fatherland!
And Starhshiya Alex is one of the few sent into the unknown for the greater good of the Union.

 

I do have a character set out in mind... I'm more of an explorer and for the greater good I take the planets treasures, and use them for the *cough hak cough* Greater good.
Some might say this is a life of a space pirate... but don't believe them!

Either that or play the role in Star Trek:
To explore strange new worlds
To seek out new life and new civilizations
To boldly go where no man has gone before...
Yay!

 

Well technically I'm lawful evil. In the long run my citizens will have the time of their lives. Meanwhile those dirty apes and disgusting gas bags will suffer for our happiness.
