i made a game but my friend was not able to see it in the lobby. only quick match seems to work for multiplayer. does the lobby system not work at the moment? will it ever work or will there only be quick match? i know that i can invite my friends to a custom game but i would like to be able to play games with randoms where i can choose to activate fog of war and other options if i please.
I can confirm that "open to friends" does not work right now. I brought it up on the Steam support forum and Shubean is on the case. There isn't yet a "open to public" option.
Use the Wargroove discord channel to chat and set up games. You can get there by pressing the discord button in the lower left corner of the main menu screen. You also have to create a discord account if you don't have one yet.
Discord isn't a fix for the game not having a lobby system, but it's the best option currently available.
