does Floran run faster than other race?

hi guys noob here. me and my friend just started playing. i picked novakid and he is floran. some how he run faster than me, we only have the basic armor on. is there a speed perk for floran? like novakid's glowing perk?

i tried floran too but he is still faster, we both running naked. idk maybe because he is host?

 

All the races are equal, including the Novakids. The only way to change that is with mods

novakids dont glow tho, exept with mods
