Do you think the game can not be launched this year?

I do like how the first two pole options are neck and neck.

Don't worry though, they plan on flash freezing everyone in the forums and then replace their body parts with robot parts so they can complete it approx. 10.20X faster.

 

Considering the amount of times it's been delayed, 2016 seems like a fair shot.

It has already been confirmed that it will be released in 2013, so the only question is when in 2013.

NASA has confirmed that it would take a few years to complete and style the spaceship to launch.

 

I can't vote for when I THINK it will come out because there is a paste bin interview with Tiy from early last year where he states that the game is in a very playable state, and that was almost a year ago. Although it was in response to a question regarding how ambitious the project was and how feasible it is. It feels like we're in the same place now except for lots of screenshots and mechanics videos, BUT we see a progression in races. Hopefully it won't be long after the last race is announced. They're also added in the hunger and breath meter in recently, I think thats a good sign too. For now I can only vote for what I hope...

Are there really at least 23 people who think the game won't come out until 2016? That seems like just a sarcastic poll option to choose.
I think the worst-case scenario is early or mid 2014. But my real guess is that it will be out this year, probably late summer.

 

I'm a little pessimistic... So I will say that I think it will be released by the end of this year 2013, if not then maybe early 2014, if not then maybe the end of year 2014, if not then maybe early 2015, if not then... I will lose my mind...

 

In China they have the year of the Dragon, Snake, Panda, etc.
We have the year of Starbound

I'm very much sure that Starbound will be coming out this year

Starbound can still be a ridiculously long time away but I know for sure it's going to be 2013.
