Closed Do you think I'll be able to play the game once it's optimized?

Hello all. I bought this game 1-3 days after it came out, and I haven't been able to play it since. I've tried various fixes both unofficial, and official, and I have come to the conclusion, that my computer isn't good enough to play the game as it is right now. What I want to know is if you guys think my computer would be able to run the game when it gets optimized in the future. Yes, I am trying to upgrade my computer, but its possible I might not be able to. I would also like to know when you guys think the beta will be in the stage were optimization would be occurring.

The GMA3100 does not support OpenGL 2.1 on Windows, and only supports OpenGL 2.0 on Linux.
It is also not DirectX9.0c-compliant.

It is unlikely it will ever run Starbound. To be frank, I would save up for a new system, rather than attempting to upgrade a Vostro.
