Do you leave momentos on planets you visit?

EDIT: Hi, I accidentally double posted.

I've made it a habit to leave little monuments or monoliths where I land, on multiplayer servers, to let people know that someone was there before them. It's unlikely that people would ever run into them, but I think it's a pretty fun thing to do. Sometimes I make it elaborate, like a sterling base made out of smooth metal and rainbow wood block. Sometimes I leave a lone flag, standing atop the highest peak on the planet... but most times I just leave a flag at the spawn, on tiles of smooth metal.

Before i did put momentos, where i visited, and now i wouldn't put any momentos, because i would construct my bases, on recently visited planet.

I dont really leave momentos but markers, ill put something at spawn and so ill know that ibe been to that planet or if im exploring the surface of a planet that is useful as well. In my opinion once I been to a planet its useless to return to the same on for recources since a portion eill be mined and I have a bad habbit of mineing into my already mined places.

Note:I am currently using a mobile device so there might be some typos and grammical mistakes.

in a perfect world the momento I would leave is a (small) hovering platform at spawn and the rest of the planet doesnt exist anymore
but that takes effort so I just do nothing

I try and leave planets untouched. I may take things, but rarely leave things. I have a pre-existing habit of not touching things I don't want to effect as it causes unnecessary save bloat, which is why I also don't like flying to planets I don't plan on doing things with.

The only momentos I leave are the holes in the floor I dug myself for mining.

Other than that I take things more than leave things.

I always mak at little platform right at spawn so i know when ive made a complete exploration of a planets surface.

I just leave one torch, usually. I plant it at or near the beam-down point and use it to tell when I've completed a circuit and seen what's on the surface.

I use whatever dirt I had from the previous planet and paint in the background while I jump around a few times. Helps to know when you've circled the planet.
I also like planting crops wherever I land, since they'll be ready by the time I come back.
Sometimes instead of chucking stuff I put it at the spawn site on the next planet.

You can count me as one of those who'd leave planets largely untouched. The most I'd do is creating a cobblestone pillar for tracking my initial start point that I'd dismantle once I've explored the planet's surface completely. In the earliest versions of Starbound I even went so far as to refill the near-surface areas I mined for coal.

Same as several other on here - I make a landing pad (Usually just a wooden platform with torches) two reasons -

-Lets me know if i've been to this this planet before.
-Also lets me know when i've done a full circuit of the surface

I've never thought to do something like this, but its a good idea! I may well start doing the same by placing a little platform to quickly see where I've been before :DD

A lot of people leave a very distinct mark on every planet that has the terrible misfortune to be in their path at any given moment.

Scientists have come to a consensus on the particular terminology for this particular pattern of marking.

    We call it "Griefing".

    Yep,
You can tell what planets I have visited by the distinct amount of nothingness left behind.

usually in most cases I would in the very least place a couple torches to either side of where I spawn in.

Occasionally, when it is not a place I plan on building on, I will make something small on the planet. Like the house I tore down to make a well out of some of the materials gained from it. It was one of those glitch king houses. It will most likely be a small structure of some kind, or a slight patching of what I take from civilization. Like taking apart the king's room at the top of a castle then filling in the hole to look like an archway that is part of the castle. I set those peasants free, even if they were afraid of me for defeating the aggressive guards.

So touch ups, or small structure is sometimes what I leave behind. Like the idea of flags and monuments; might take that into consideration, as long as it fits with what I have in mind. After all I plan to build a universe eventually. One in which I can use another character and journey through what I built or look back on.:)

Usually I dig a 3 long 2 deep hole near the spawn.
    - If I start exploring left, I place a torch/cheap light on the left side of the hole. Vice-versa for the right side.
    - When I explore the surface, I place a torch/cheap ligh on the other side of the hole (left/right).
    - When I explore the underground, I place a torch/cheap light in the middle.

    That's pretty much it.
