Do these websites still work to edit characters?

    I just got the game and found out about these two websites to edit player files so I can change my characters personality and underwear. But apparently they only support upbeat giraffe and I'm on spirited giraffe. I'm afraid to try them out on my file so I wanted to know if anyone knows if they still work or if it breaks the file/game or causes corruption.

    SBSE has its own Desktop Edition, which still works like a charm for me.

    As for Starreader. I have never used it.

    SBSE Desktop edition is probably the best one to use. As it actually makes backups, meaning if something does tragically go wrong you haven't permanently lost your character.

    IIrc it works on all races, no matter if modded or not.
    Buuut it probably won't work for nightly. I think there was something about it becoming incompatible or something.

    Starreader works. I've used it to change my characters saying (stable). Although it shows I changed it for my nightly character, it hasn't actually worked yet.
