Okay I had to register just to say THANK YOU for adding more diversity, and this mod has actually made the game playable for me. Your edits are also top-quality and fit the style of the game perfectly.

I was honestly struggling with the character interactions because I couldn't tell a lot of the characters apart! I swear there's like half a dozen near-identical blonde white chicks @_@

before this mod there was two people of colour in the game, thank you

 

I've been using this and its absolutely lovely, but I noticed the little three-leaf patches of grass that pulse every few seconds, when they pulse or wave or whatever, the pixels of grass surrounding them are still orange.

 

Download for updated Fall Colors. I think I got it fixed. Thanks for spotting that.

No worries! I'm not exactly in a rush, ah ha ha! Leah and Caroline are gorgeous, Leah's defnitely one of my favorites so far.

 

I love these! I'm excited for Abigail but I was wondering if any of her purple hair would be kept? That and if you plan on editing the Wizard since it's implied she's his daughter. There is a few dialogues I get often from Caroline and even Abigail sometimes as well that it would seem weird if there weren't any there I really do enjoy the ones in my game so far.

I absolutely love these, I keep this page bookmarked and add each new character as you've been completing them.
When I first started playing I was really disappointed with the diversity. Like, there's only one person of colour who was romancable? Now I'm having a hard time choosing who to romance since there is so much diversity. I love it!

 

dude it cracks me up how many ppl are like are u gonna make x and the wizard look similar because it's implied they're related??? the wizard is Every Persons Dad......... Also I loveeeee ur Caroline she looks just like my auntie

 

It's only Abigail I thought? That I've seen. Caroline mentions she spent a lot of time near the tower and wasn't ready to settle down, Abigail has purple hair - that she said she hasn't dyed in awhile, it just stays purple - as does the Wizard, she has interests that sort of add to the theory, the Wizard mentions thinking a townsperson is their daughter, ETC. It wouldn't make sense if it was someone else even if it's just rumor

ive seen it for abigail jas and emily hahaha. i dont think so because caroline talks abt what abigails natural hair color is but i dont think its confirmed either way!! she could be the wizards daughter! my personal theory is that its jas

 

Well Caroline mentioned that her natural hair color is chestnut but Abigail says that she stopped dying it ages ago and it just mysteriously stayed purple is why I figured that. Jas has said her parents died and Emily and Haley's parents are travelling - neither mention it was just a mother - is why I think that if the wizard does have a daughter it would be Abigail. Caroline also says she wasn't ready to settle down when they moved to the valley and so spent a lot of time at the Wizard's tower... But a great part of this game is that CA purposely leaves a lot of it vague so people can form their own conclusions! Either way I still love these mods and will probably use it.

 

Thank you so much for this mod! I've had very few complaints about this game, but "token black guy" and "only one date-able POC and it's a GIRL dammit" were near the top. I can't wait to have my little village be a diverse and interesting place. I've played plenty enough whitewashed games for a lifetime. And these images are really well done! They fit the style of the game very well. Can't wait to see more!

 

Wow this is really cool! Your Maru is far and away the best I have ever seen. Your art style is distinct, but absolutely fits the rest of the game. This is a big thing with me with portrait/Sprite mods is you end up with one or two characters that are jarringly different. I feel like you could cherry pick your characters and no one would question the difference if they didn't know. Please keep up the wonderful work.

 

I really can't say how much I love this mod and your drawing style! i'll be waiting until you finished all of the towns people ( i hope you will do). I was shocked that sebby actually almost got the same hair color as me and is Asian too! like is this magic or something? lol *bows down*

 

In love with this mod. The game is practically unplayable without it, for me.

 

Lovely mod, done very well and looks great. Though I do like the cast of characters as the race they are, I am using your Maru and Demetrius mod, just because I think they look more pleasing, and more fitting to their character. I mean. Demetrius actually looks more like a scientist now, who HAS seen experiments go wrong, with the mad-scientist-ish, messy hair, and the little cuts/scars on his face.
