Distress Beacon in a village

    Is it a good idea to deploy a distress beacon in the middle of an avian village? Will the avians help me defeat the penguins?

    If they have long range weapons yes.
    Avaian Airship is better though in my opinion

    It kind of depends on your luck really. Seeing as the UFO can break blocks and the ships aren't that deep. I would expect the Avians to tear through it pretty fast though I guess.

    i used mine in a glitch city and it made it a lot easier mostly because they kept the ground troops busy and allowed me to focus on the main boss. that and you can use the houses for cover.

    The NPCs will only attack hostiles if they pose a threat/attack them. A monster inside a village will only be killed if they hurt an NPC.
