He decides to continue down the tunnel, keeping a firm grip on his cane. "You have a map danielle, which way would get us to where we need to be?"
She pulls out the map and glances at it, 'Left, right, right again, then stop about halfway through. That should be an access tunnel to the maintenaince room in the station.' She puts the map back, covering her nose again. They come to the first intersection. The left path looks the same as the path they'd been taking, while the right path seems to be were the stench is coming from. The walls have a sickly hue, and it looks like some kind of mold is growing between the bricks.
"Hm, ok then. They might be of some use if we can find them..." Hookbeak turns to Karas, looking him over to see if he's a threat. "Yar?"
He narrows his eyes in the direction of the stench, sniffing the air, but then turns and heads left. "Let us move quickly..."
Pretend you're Theta. "Um... Hi." Unarmed and with no intention of attacking, he looks up at the very pirate-seeming Avian, eyes wide with curiosity. "Heh, to be honest I didn't think this through exactly, but you seem pretty cool, mister..." He's hoping his size and overall youthful appearance can help him seem even younger than his 20-some years.
Hookbeak decides that this person was probably not a threat. "Er... Thanks?" he says, raising his eyebrow. "Do ye' need something?"
"Well, you seem to look like you know where you're going and all... See... I'm new here, and I don't quite know where everything is. So, I was wondering if..." He trails off, shrugging. "Or I guess you might be busy," he mutters, disappointed.
"Give me a moment..." Hookbeak tells Karas, turning to Hilary. "Ye' think ye' could help out this guy?" he asks her. "I think you probably know this place better than me."
Danielle nods agreement. She hurries down the left passage turning right at the end. As the turn the corner, they hear a screech of some sort from down the other path good thing they didn't go that way...
He looks back, but then continues on. "It is certainly a good thing we did not go right... come on, let's go..."
The path looks like it has almost caved in at the end, with a hole in the ground. The hole appears ringed in rusted metal
"Right, so the big boys in the council have scheduled for the declaration of war to occur 6 days from now, although it's our job to make sure that things go swimmingly from here to then. When 'then' happens, that's when we really get to do our job however," Danny states as he cracks a knuckle. Kently adds in a quick, "he doesn't look like it but Danny here can actually fight pretty well." "We're looking forward to this if you can't tell." "Yeah. REAL excited for war." "This is our job Kently, get used to it and have some fun for more than 5 seconds at a time." Kently rolls his eyes and slides Spike a folder. Hilary turns to Hookbeak, whispering, "I dunno, I mean this guy seems pretty damn weird, he called you mister, like seriously, you two look the same age. In my experience I'd say he's a petty thief trying to get our trust.. But it couldn't help to let him tag along, cause maybe he isn't a thief, I haven't seen him around so.. Yeah, let's do it." Hilary turns back to Karas, extending her hand, "nice to meet you, I'm Hilary, Hilary Stonebrook," Hilary looks at Karas with eyes that say, "I'm going to kill you" and "I'd love to know you more" at the same time. Vana stops the group at a road crossing, "yeah I don't think we can jump the entire street sorry guys," To the left is the water purification planet however, "you say you guys woke up near there right?"
No matter, the building has gone completely silent, including the alarm. The stairs are littered with bodies but are still climbable. (Sorry I thought I replied to this)
He strolls over and carefully inspects the hole, tasting the air for toxins and being careful to avoid breathing in...
Danger looks up at Vana and then to the water purification plant. "Yesss, that isss place where Danger and otherss woke up before meeting Vana and Jerry"
The air tastes as any air would in a dank tunnel beneath a dying city. Bad. Beneath the hole seems to be a moderate drop, at the bottom of which is a small pile of bricks on what look like... train tracks? You can't make it out very well due to the quality of the light. Good thing you brought that rope.
-sortil sortil climbs the stairs, looking for a window to exit through upon reaching the top. he holds the more loaded handgun out in front of him, ready to shoot someone in the face
Karas wordlessly shakes her hand. Lilith, he thinks, except Lilith never looked at anyone this way. Then, he remembers himself and answers her introduction. "...I'm Jonathan Crow."
