You see a spartan room, only a wire bed, a small table, and a chair. There's a small cupboard on the ground. It shuts with a satisfying clang. The man is walking further down the cavern, following a trail of lights. The door is difficult to open at first, but eventually shifts as the rubble comes off. It looks like something came through and smashed everything in a rage, few buildings near you are standing.
Hookbeak, if nothing in the house warranted his attention, would walk outside to observe the surrounding environment better.
It seems pretty average, only four rooms, nothing stands out. As you step outside, you see Dorothy wiping her face. She turns to you, 'Oh, hey, you're up and about already?'
He follows a trail of lights until the cavern opens up into a wide space populated by stalactites and stalagmites. In between the monoliths are ramshackle looking tents, with people roaming around in an almost daze. The man carries Kato to one of the large rows of tents. They seem equally sparse.
You see what seems to be a command tent further down the row. The man disappears into the infirmary. Mostly food and small trinkets, though one has a shoddy dagger and makeshift handgun.
-sortil He sits down on the bed of the room he is in, and begins to dismantle and clean the magnum with the cleanest spot on his shirt
There isn't much of the shirt left, but you find a slightly less grimy and bloodsoaked piece, and are able to wipe some of the grime off of it. A bedsheets might work a bit better. Inside it's bustling with activity, seems they've managed to patch into the communication network, and are doing what they can to bring what's left of the troops back. Yazu is in the back leaning over a map with the phone to his ear.
You don't see any familiar faces. Yazu notices you and holds up his hand, as if saying, 'one moment'. He finishes up the call, then motions you to come over.
