"Vilo Kanto, you?" he stands up, wiping some dirt off his clothes. "I suppose so," Vana replies with a smile. The corridor ahead leads a musty, dark path, hardly able to see more than 10 feet forward, Johnny steps up. "Might as well go through, not like we have much of a choice you know," he states, from the back of the group this time.
Nezun smiles back to Vana, her fangs lightly stick out at the edge of her mouth. She turns towards Johnny's voice, nodding in agreement with him as she seconds the notion.
-sortil he tries to downstab at auslier, but the kick throws off his balance and he ends up hitting his leg instead
Nezun steps in front of everyone and faces the group. I'll go in first. If there's something ahead, I can smell it before we see it and give us the jump on it instead.
Xael nodded. "That seems like a good plan to me," she said, "I could go behind you, I'm better at close combat then long range."
The knife slashes his good leg, prompting to him to instinctively bite down on Sortil's leg, singing his gums after about two seconds. He rolls away to get put of reach.
-sortil "AANd you talk about playing NICE" he stabs down as auslier rolls, hitting the ground instead "fucking SHIT" his corona flares
He rubs his gums in minor pain, still keeping a firm grip on his dagger. His left eye is twitching faster and his grin is still wide as his crazed eyes... "Sorry, but instincts are difficult to control when half of your brain is pre-historic... Besides, that ship sailed once you pulled the gun on me..."
Nezun nods and smiles to Xael. You handled yourself well back there, I'm counting on you to watch my back... Nezun pauses for a moment. I don't think we've had a proper introduction. My name is Nezun, Nezun Skyire.
It's nice to meet you, too. It's comforting to know that I'll have someone watching my back. It's kind of in my nature. Nezun lets out a chuckle.
Xael chuckled as well. "Well, we should probably get going if everyone is ready," she said, looking back at the others.
Nodding to that, Nezun turns back towards the darkness and begins to head forward, sniffing and twitching her ears all around as she leads the way forward.
Xael took out her naginata, holding the blade out of the way as she followed Nezun, watching and listening carefully to their surroundings and the area behind them.
He rolls backwards again before springing forwards to catch Sortil's blade with his dagger's notched crossbar.
