"It is incredibly difficult, which is why I'm here. Not everyone needs to be as smart as you and I, but we must recognize that there is an overabundance of people who contribute little or nothing to the betterments of society. Anyways, driver, what is our ETA?"
"Yeah, and watch for this crazy labyrinth to stop moving without us," Vana adds, before going to go collect every one. @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat @Firepaw Da Cat Joanna doesn't exactly try to argue that point, the driver turns his head slightly to Euclid, replying. "I'd give it 2-5 hours or so, factoring in the chance of more detours."
@Jakz The Ripper You fade into conciousness, you can only see darkness. You faintly here some words from the doctor, '...critical...may have to...anestize...' you feel your conciousness slipping away again...
Where am I now...? What's going on...? Were the only thoughts Zephyr could produce before she slipped out of conscience yet again.
(ah) (lemme just re-post) Xael peaked around Danger and Nezun, looking into where she had came from. "This looks like it could be a way out though," she said, stepping through the gap.
"Well, I suppose there isn't much we can do about that. Joanna, please wake me up when we get there. But also try to not let me die in my sleep- my numbness in my broken limbs doesn't mean I'm feeling better." With that, Euclid shifts his weight into his not crippled limbs, and goes to sleep.
(It's totally fine) The rest of the thin wall crumbles completely, making a clear path for everyone to walk through. "I guess it is," Vana adds, examining the corridor. Joanna affirms Euclid, before taking the gun the guard gave him, to keep watch. Euclid's mind wanders as he sleeps, seemingly in a lucid dream. Although everything seems off somehow.
-sortil "Piece of shi-" He readies his knife defensively, shaking the gun back in an attempt to shift the bullet back into chamber with one hand (magnums dont jam that easily... A more likely fail would be a miss due to left hand weilding +high recoil)
Nezun reaches up and clasps Vana's helping hand, once up, she brushes herself off of most of the dust. Thank-you for that. Another stroke of luck it seems after an almost-misfortune ending. Nezun turns her gaze down the now gaping hole, squinting her eyes to see if anything changed within the darkness.
"Well, this is a first," Euclid mutters to himself, looking around. He can feel the offness of the situation, and is trying to read his environment to see what is happening.
Aüslēir attempts to dodge and close the distance the moment he notices him reach for the gun. But then lunges forwards blade first when the gun doesn't go off. "If there's one thing I hate, it's someone who doesn't fight fair in a duel..."
-sortil sortil sidesteps the blade and hits auslier with his forearm, throwing him off balance. sortil spins about on his foot to face ausliers back
