'The bombs won't go underground!' thinks spike as he starts rushing frantically towards a nearby building looking for any entrances.

 

Zephyr paused, listening for a minute before she looked up into the sky.

 

Xael chuckled lightly. "Yea, I guess you could say that to," she said, looking around at the patients, "they seem very happy, that's nice."

You see squadrons of jets bombing the slums.

It's dark, after about a minute you reach the bottom. It smalls musty. Kato sets down soon after you, and turns on a flashlight attached to his shirt. He hands you a similar one. 'I made this awhile ago in case I needed an easy escape. People normally avoid the underground if they can.'

Your swipe slashes the guard's throat, spraying out blood. Your front gets a good splattering, you make a fearsome sight. The other guard turns to shoot at you, but only hits someone else. One of the other rioters picks up the dead guard's gun and finished reloading it, then shoots the guard.

As he enters the station, the bombs drop, destroying the car and the entrance. You are blasted down the stairs, rolling to a stop eventually. It's dark, and you can only hear the ringing of the explosions.

 

Zephyr chuckled lightly before making her way into the barracks. "We're jet bombing now? Sweet," she said aloud, not caring if anyone heard her or not.

Retreating further into the crowd, Hookbeak stops and listens for any more gunfire, which, Hookbeak reasoned, would indicate that presence of any more guards.

 

The AA cannons startfiring, shooting at the jets. People around her start scrambling to defensive positions.

There are three guards left, they've taken cover in the booth.

Spiderbreath pokes his head through the top of your shirt, down which he had crawled.

You hear some shifting further down the tunnel.

He takes out the gun and knife, approaching

 

"Ahh... Smells like home... Well... My old clan's home anyway..."

 

You see a humanoid shuffling towards you, that's all you can tell in the dim glow from your corona.

'Cmon, let's go.' The tunnel leads on a short distance deforestation being back in the old subway. 'The subway is normally the safest, or at least safer. It's newer than anything else, but it's still a couple hundred cycles old.'

You hit them in the shoulder. They stumble back, into the darkness. 'What the hell man, I was coming to check on you?!?' He runs away into the darkness. His footsteps echo down the hall after your gunshot.

You hear a thump down the hall as their body hits the floor. It's silent again.
