-splicer Splicer enters the cop car and guns the thing, peeling out of the garage. clear chatter. No cops in the area. Something more dangerous than them is here. Not in the state to face it
Nezun sighs softly and just lets it slide. She follows right behind Danger, making sure not to put too much weight near Danger.
"Johnson, Appo. Hell I don't even care any more if you wanna report me, do it, I didn't sign up to fight a war man." He replies. The door starts banging, a sizzling sound starts on the other side of the door, everyone rushes to get into line. A few larger patients head down in front of Danger, Vana stops in front of Danger and Jerry in front of Vana. "Long day, huh?" Vana adds jokingly. A patient tries to pass Nezun as she's clearly in between their weight but she sees Nezun is more intent on that spot and let's it slide, settling for right behind her. The director, Miss Tenton, stops to look at the proposal to bomb the invaded districts before invading them with full force. She rubs her eyes, exhausted, she yawns. "Well what other freaking option do we have. Let ourselves get taken over by those damn Anarchists?" She mumbles to herself. She takes a few deep breaths before signing the sheet, then handing it to her assistant. "Make sure it gets to where it needs to be ASAP. Don't screw me this time Kolton." Miss Tenton fluffs her red-gray feathers before leaving to go make a speech for the public. She opens the doors to the balcony as a blinding light forces her to squint, smoke and flames in the background, the chaos stretching for thousands of miles along the border between the slums and the city.
Xael got in line behind everyone, proceeding down the stairs carefully and partially backwards, keeping her eyes on the door.
"Feels like not too long ago I was dead huh? Probably cause it was not too long ago, surprisingly enough the surgery and tests they did on me didn't take that long, it's something with binding the metal to the organic tissues so they can work symbiotically or some junk." Vana whispers, hoping not to insult anyone there somehow. Slowly, as the group descends the stairs close up behind them, but just far enough away that it's barely visible.
Xael raised and eyebrow, turning back around. "Well, I don't think we're going to need to worry about the guards anymore..." she said, trailing off.
Hookbeak looks up, rising from his semi-squat, for any other nearby guards, leaving the one he just attacked to the crowd.
The box has a blinking light, for another channel. There are two more holding off attackers with auto rifles. They seem to be holding them at bay, killing several and wounding many more. One stops to reload. The body is carted to the infirmary. You can either get out some aggression at the firing range, or go to the bunks for some rest.
Hookbeak dashes towards the one reloading and swipes at him. If he was not stopped, he would retreat back into the masses of the crowd.
Nezun follows quietly behind Danger, looking further down the stairs to try and see what's ahead @quitaren12
For a couple hundred meters, it's mostly musty darkness, slowly descending into the abyss. After several minutes of walking down stairs, the floor levels out, and then the room opens up into a cavern cavity, stalagmites top and bottom, a few dry places. The spot is very warm however.
It seems to be some kind of chatter channel, though for what you can't tell. The old fort up the hill is mentioned a few times, as well as different status updates and something about a body.
Jets fly over head, in the distance they look like flies, floating around, then an explosion in the distance. The district north gets pelted with bombs. Then Spike notices an pack of jets flying over his district.
Spike quickly looks for a bit of shelter from the bombs and gets to cover. '**** more bombardment? there wont be anything left' thinks Spike.
Euclid simply nods and writes something down in his own notepad, and grins...heinously. "Nothing so sinister, Johnson. I'm just going to be needing some volunteers to help with my work, and I felt like that may be a good way to...patch up our relationship."
