Danger smiles at Nezun "Nice to meet Avali!" She tells her

Sortil starts up and looks for the cop radio

 

Nezun giggles softly, a lonely smile etches her face.
It's nice to meet you as well, Danger.
Shaking her head, Nezun changes the subject as she redirects her attention back to Jerry. @quitaren12
What's next then?

 

Jerry shrugs, "I'm not really the leader guy.. But if it were my guess I'd say we forge on, going back isn't really an option now is it."

 

With a step forward, Nezun breaks away from the rest of the patients, looks back and up over the hulking bunch, she makes an attempt to give a small, quick speech raise the morel of everyone.

 

Zephyr grabbed the soldiers hand, pulling herself up and getting into the truck without a word.

 

Xael, who had found her way though the patients nodded. "Sounds good to me, not like we have any other choice though," she laughed shortly before turning to the rest of the group with a small bow, "Xael Nevermore, by the way."

 

It's attached to the dash. No chatter, just silence.

She respects you, nodding silently and solemnly. The drive back is quiet.

 

"Danger agreesss, mussst keep moving on" She says

 

Hookbeak takes a swipe at the guard's legs, lowering himself closer to the ground as he does so.

 

When the arrived back at the base, she turned to the soldiers. "Do you have any idea of what I'm supposed to do now?" she asked, looking up at them.

He gets out and enters the smaller police car, picking up spiderbreath.

Get out. Now.

 

At this, Euclid speaks again; "Leave me to die and death will be the least of your worries. My work is invaluable. Do you even know why you're supposed to be protecting me? Because I'm one of the top minds in this city, and if this project doesn't get finished our superiors will have both of our heads. So I suggest you use what minimal brain cells you utilize on a day to day basis and recognize that this is what you get paid for- not acting like a petulant child."

 

The patients, in their confusion only talk with each other, Nezun's size makes it difficult for her to bring attention to herself.

The patients turn to look at Xael, as she's standing on the edge of the fragile steps, the first one cracks, throwing her off balance mid-bow. A few patients giggle, the others greet her normally.

Johnny nods in agreement, making his way to the front of the group. "If you all would mind, I'll lead the group, besides I'm kind of expendable anyway. You all deserve a good life out there, even if it's a hellzone at the moment," Johnny says as he makes the fist few steps down into the seemingly endless abyss.

 

Xael sighed and shook her head. "We should go single file, as proven there these stairs aren't very stable and I don't even weigh that much," she said, watching Johnny carefully.

 

"Then how about you realize that we're the ones protecting you instead of using that just to be a whiny dick all day, huh?" The soldier grips his gun.
Joanna sits up and slaps the both of them, Euclid a little bit lighter than the soldier. "Shut up! We all almost just died back there and you're fighting about this?"
"What would be smartest is if we just spent our time right now making sure we don't get killed and get from point A to point B without various weapons maiming our lifeless corpses!" Joanna then sits back down and angrily writes something in her notepad.

"Eh!" Johnny shouts back at her, before almost slipping.
"You know what? I'll just wait for you guys to catch up, lightest and weakest at the top, strongest and heaviest at the bottom, if anyone above you falls or slips make sure you keep them safe."

 

Blood starts spurting from Euclids mouth, dripping down onto the seat and floor of the car. Euclid takes some time to come back to his senses, and looks back around the van. He makes no effort to stop the blood slipping out of his mouth.
"Soldier, what is your name and Identification Number?"

 

Xael laughed and moved to the side. "You heard 'im, let's go before the guards get out," she said.

 

You hit his legs, and the blade slices through a soft spot in his body armor, going through his calf. He falls in pain and surprise, quickly overwhelmed by the crowd.

'You should take some R&R, you just went through some shit.' The truck pulls into the fort, and a stretcher comes, on which Kently is unceremoniously loaded.

Spiderbreath looks at you confused, but consents. The police car has the remote on the dash.
