He walks up to him

 

Spiderbreath pulls his teeth out of the neck of the apex, and chirps at you happily, scuttling out through the bars and up your clothes to your shoulder, and hopping on your shoulder with excitement.

 

Spike just waves behind him as he walks towards the base and out of sight.

 

Vana smiles. "Yeah, Vana's okay," Vana pats Danger on the head. "You really do remind me of my sister."
"So what does this Avali girl have to say to me, huh?" @Gilligan Lanley

The soldier turns his head to Euclid. "We got ambushed, your car was flipped and a handful of people died trying to save you and your work so maybe a little more respect now would be nice. Thankfully the brave men who stayed back to cover our getaway are alright."
Joanna finally wakes up, asking the same question, the soldier just shakes his head and sighs.

 

Nezun perks her ears a little at hearing that Vana was doing okay.
I was wondering the same as our Floran friend here. You took a nasty hit back there... I thought for sure you lost consciousness for a moment.

 

"My bones are broken, I'm slipping in and out of consciousness and you feel like now is the best time to be demanding respect?" Euclid half asks, half rambles. After that, he stays quiet for the rest of the trip, waiting to get to his base and hopefully receive medical treatment.

 

"Oh I did, don't be mistaken, for once I believe those nasty fellows and their 'research' did some good for once, it's what kept me alive at least, here and back there," Vana replies, in an apologetic tone, like she's responsible for what happened to all of the patients there.

"Or we can just ditch you by the side of the road, if that's what you want, Egghead," the soldier replies getting angrier.
"Now now boys, maybe right now isn't the best time to be fighting over who's external reproductive organ is largest?" Joanna interrupts.

A troop Tra sport pulls up next to your location. Two other soldiers step out, grab Kently's body, and pull it up into the truck. Another puts her hand out, ready to help you up.

Nezun lets out a sigh of relief.
This would be one of those 'good things from something bad' moments, huh?
Nezun pauses for a moment, and ponders something and mutters something inaudible in a curious tone.

 

"Like a silver lining, if you will. What's your name?" Vana wonders aloud.

 

He does an equivalent to purring, rattling his chitin rythmically. There's the prisoner transport, which is slow but armored, and the cruiser, which is fast, but substantially weaker.

Sortil enters the prisoner transport and revs it up

Danger smiles "Thanksss, Vana remind Danger of a sssissster ssshe hasss too" she replies

 

Nezun smiles warmly to Vana.
Nezun. Nezun Skyfire. It's nice to meet you.
Nezun gives a small bow with her head.

 

"Nice to meet you too Miss Skyfire," Vana offers a bow as well. "Have you met Danger here yet?" Vana smiles with a slight giggle at Danger in reply.

 

Nezun nods affirmatively.
Well, not formally. I helped her during the escape.
She smiles and another small bow is followed, this time towards Danger. @Firepaw Da Cat

 

Hookbeak moves forward with the crowd, pointing his sword forward like a spear as he nears the guards.

 

Most of them in the crowd have pulled out stun batons, anyone they hit goes to the ground, twitching like a fish. The guard nearest you parried your attack.

 

The keys are on the dash. Spiderbreath curls up on a spare uniform in the seat.
