Zephyr glances at them. "It is polite to introduce yourself before inquiring who a stranger is," she said simply, resting her hand on her gun. "Though you seem to know who this novakid I've been told to find is."

"Pardon our manners Miss, I am Aussus Croix... As for information regarding the novakid, I believe an exchange in that regard would only be fair... Care to explain your presence here?"

 

Zephyr laughed lightly and bowed lightly. "I am Zephyr Dynasty, and X gang soldier. I was told Kently here bailed on us and I was to find this novakid," she stated, "he was out cold when I got here but he woke briefly just a few minutes ago."

 

"Well," Hookbeak says, pointing to the back of the crowd, "there's people back there that are able to break through the guards stoppin' us from leavin', and they need help arming the crowd."

 

The evidence room is ajar. An exit at the far end of the hall swings shut.

'My name is Kato, Mrs. Dynasty. We're working for the X's as well, looks like you got it all handled here. Do your best to bring the body back, I'm sure Yazu will want to make some show of it.' He turns to Auslier. 'You up for a hunt?'

 

She looks grateful. 'Thanks for the info, I'll spread it through the crowd. We are gonna leave here, one way or another.

He sees it, as well as the magnum and two grenades in a small duffle on a shelf. There's only one box of ammo, about 79 rounds, plus the four in the gun.

sortil walks in, and takes his knife. he loads the ammo into the duffel, and puts it on his back. he takes the magnum in his right hand, leaving the old gun in the duffel

 

He feels complete again. The exit closes fully. Seems your prey has escaped.

he kicks the exit open and looks around

 

It looks like the car pool. Two squad hovercars, and an armored riot truck similar to the one from before. Another armored car is leaving the lot.

sortil walks up to a squadcar and yanks the door open, looking to see if it is ready-to-go

 

Hookbeak gives a now of approval before digging deeper into the crowd. He approaches another person, telling him to move to the back of the crowd to help break through the guards, then continues on to another. He continues with this unless he is interrupted by something.

 

The keys are on the dash, seems the police weren't worried about theft.

There's a gunshot at the front of the crowd. Whether it was accidental or not, it has started.

As Euclid fades from consciousness, his Lawful bodyguards spring into action. Two soldiers quickly run out of their van and grab Euclid, now completely limp, and escort him into their van. While two soldiers from another van rush out to retrieve Joanna, the remaining three soldiers take up defensive positions and lay down cover fire, aiming to kill. An extra, though deceased, soldier is slumped over on the ground, his gun a few feet away.

 

Zephyr nodded and proceeded to type into her beeper 'This is Zephyr, may I have a pick up please? I have found the novakid' before looking back up. "Anything else you would like?" she asked tilting her head to the side.

 

'No, that's it, I trust you with the cleanup,' He says dismissively.
