Sortil walks between the nearest two buildings

 

Hookbeak nods. "Let's get goin', then." he says, walking away from the city.

 

Xael looked over the buttons before pushing them in seemingly random sequences. "The trick to this is that after a while of being used, the buttons will wear down, so all you gotta do is find the right combo with the worn out buttons," she said.

 

The people leave him alone and go back to their business, although a few brave ones follow after him and call him out, "HEY JACKASS"

With rioting starting the city screams with smashing glass and flames, a government fighter even goes down in the middle of downtown.

"But that could take days, lemme just throw you a few high probability codes before you keep us down here for who knows how long," Johnny approaches Xael and Danger, looking at the keypad he gives Xael a few codes to try, but none of them are it.
"Great," Jerry sighs.

 

Xael frowned before taking her dagger out and trying to find a screw so she could open it. "Maybe we can hack it?"

His corona flares up violently and he charges right at them at a very quick speed, slicing his knife right through the neck of the first one, grabbing the shoulder of the next one, spinning him around, stabbing him in the back, and holding him like a shield

He keeps his blade at the ready as he continues...

It's a simple chain link fence, though it has some nasty looking razor wire on top, an guards are patrolling every once in awhile.

His sanity questions him back.

He finishes the job, the large crowd lays on the ground either dead or dying. He pats the roof of the car, and Dan moves on.

He hears a hissing noise from up ahead.

 

He tenses and peers into the darkness...

 

The only thing he can see is the walls, the still curving to the left. Though, looking closely, he notices that there are small holes in the walls. Behind him, he hears what sounds like parchment scraping on parchment.

 

He continues walking and tastes the air...

 

The air is dry, and tastes slightly like decay. The noises get louder.

 

He keeps his blade at the ready still and quickens his pace... "Do not turn back... We might have to fight it, we may not... Do not engage until we know our surroundings..."

 

The walls seem to come alive as he ends this sentence, bugs crawling out of the walls. Danielle yelps behind him.

 

He turns to Danielle... "Back to running!"
He runs down the tunnel... Being sure to lift his legs and keeping a long stride.

 

She follows suit, keeping her arms tight to her sides. The bugs take flight, buzzing out from the walls and crowding up the hall, slowly blocking out the light.

 

Tekari stops questioning his sanity because it's going to drive him insane and heads back to the street, looking for a building that looks intact and full of wonderful loot.

 

There are few, and they are well guarded by any surviving government peeps.
