(is there any natural light flowing into the room?) He looks up the array for exposed cabling and to consider how he might be able to climb it.
Zephyr looked around. "Will it just be our force sir? Or will the other gangs be working with us?" she asked, her ear twitching.
'A few other gangs! but mostly street gangs, no others are outfitted as heavily as us.' He says, beaming with pride. There's a ladder on the wall leadiong to the roof, as well as several windows through which light is coming. The sun is slowly sinking.
Zephyr nodded again. "Ok, I'll keep that in mind," she said, her smile growing at his expression, "you seem very proud of the fact it seems."
He goes to the terminal nearest to the ladder. Carefully inspecting to see who is and isn't armed and with what.
Two people are armed with sidearms, you can't tell more than that. The terminal displays a complicated series of numbers on bootup, then a window pops up, detailing the locations available to call.
He taps slums, but doesn't make the call. He glances at the array once again looking for where there are exposed cables...
There are none, but intuition tells him to either find them on the roof or to open the hatch on the column.
He considers how long each would take him, and whether or not they would have enough time to call for help before he can disable the array...
Well, he's in a comm room, and there are six of them. He'd have to be fast to take them all out. The fastest method would be the roof, though he won't be able to get up there without attracting suspicion.
"Wh-why would that happen?" Replies Gilden. "It would need some sort of interference from another person for that to happen; i mean, it's a base, not a bomb". "Were you able to figure whether or not i was rigged to blow? I have a feeling it wasn't just a accident."
"All right! Then let's go see some armour.. It'd be nice to have a local show us where the good shops are," Johnny says, thinking out loud to Danger and Xael. The snickering turns to some kind of distorted sadistic laughter, down the corridor of trees Spiderbreath pokes his head from behind a tree, he looks genuinely scared and doesn't seem to want to come near him, but instead uses his tail to wave Sortil over to him. The laughter in the trees grows louder as it circles Sortil. "We've got no idea, the entire building is reduced to ashes!" Camilla exclaims, breaking from her panic off to the side.
-sortil Sortil laughs harder, and stays out of the trees. He pockets the gun, and stabs his remaining swords and blades into the ground around himself, sickle still in the bedsheet holster "you get the first move, laughing treeman" He is on a heightened alert, and stays completely silent, swaying in an odd way, ready to dodge anything, even from behind
Spiderbreath quivers behind his tree. The leaves begin rustling, as if a strong wind is thrashing them around. Out from the canopy emerges a giant winged beast with one eye, it's caw resembles a demented laughter, it's feathers black as the shadows of Tartarus. The winged beast begins circling Sortil, cawing louder and louder until it's laughter reverberates from wall to wall of this giant forest room.
"There's people everywhere like that Danger, I'm not sure all of them would help us though, it might be nice to just wander for some ti-" "Okay never mind there's an armour shop like three stores down from here, next time it might be better to check for stores before complaining about how hard they are to find," Johnny dips his head as he leads the two girls to their next stop.
"Oh... Danger didn't know" Danger says slowly as she follows Johnny, she checks out how the store they're heading to looks from the outside
